@@Orocoelle Ok great idea I'll be sure too !
Sorry for the bad angle, camera wasn't working 😅
What song would you like to hear next?
Let's get this to 20 views so I can do the solo!
Awesome man you'll keep getting better from here
Thanks man! Yeah I can play it now I just gotta make the notes articulate better and make them sure I can really hear em.
Leave your pick down in the comments!
What band do you want to see next?
!! GG My Friend Nice video !! have a good day ;D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks man I really appreciate it! Not many people see my vids so thank you so much!
Awesome explanation ✌🏻
Thanks man I really appreciate it!
Let's get this to 20 views so I can do the solos!
Lesson for this coming soon!
Please let me know what I can improve in terms of my playing, tone, and/or recording process. Since it's quite long this is only part of the solo and I'll cover the rest if we can reach 30 views on this!
Check the description for details and please let me know what I can improve in my soloing down below!
Also thank you too TGuitar for the beautiful backing track!
my last comment for you....said it before...you are hovering above the strings with your picking hand....BUNK My dude....anchor your right palm....mute the open string noise or it sounds like butt...just curious are you trying to teach others with this video?...if so you should stop doing that ASAP....you dont have the riff yet...why teach?
I know it's not the best tone or anything like that. But I like to record and post and some people can follow along if they want nobody has to watch it. But the channel also acts like benchmarks to me to see what I've learned in the past month/weeks. And you don't forget techniques but you can forget songs because you learn so many of them so I post it more for myslef. I never said I'm the best player or anything but it's peoples choices if they want to watch or not. Nevertheless, I'm gonna keep doing what I love to do.
😢
that's the right path...it will come together...keep going!
Thank you!
Just keep going
Thanks man, appreciate it!
i do down picking and it just works on alt picking too for some reason
That’s gonna hold you back eventually if you ever try to play faster. It took me a while to get used to it too. But it helps a lot
@@Aeternity2008 to be honest idk it works great but im starting to play more alt picking too to get better
That's true. I felt the same for a long time and I finally just started practicing alternate picking more and I got way faster@@Aeternity2008
let me help ya...place your right hand palm in line with the bridge where the strings meet the metal....then do your alternate picking stuff...your palming of the right hand allows you to use more gain and keep it under control....also it makes alt picking even easier when your right hand is anchored
also wanna add you're floating above the strings...that technique is great but only used by pros because they use the left hand fingers to mute the excess noise...thats a bit advanced....just anchor your hand and you will love the control it gives you on noise....lol never have to use a noise gate again
Ok thank you for the help! But I heard being anchored Compeltely isn't always good? So during alternate picking should I be more anchored? And for things like soloing should I have a more loose wrist or jeep that strict anchor?
@@MikayalsMusic well...nothing is guitar are hard rules...I was just referring to the extra string noise...it takes a little to get used to but its highly effective and sure there will be times you aren't playing that way but thats just based on you and how you want it to sound...open and a lil noisy or tight and chugging...both have their place...and yeah its all wrist not much arm movement when soloing...check out some pro guitarists on YT And watch the right hand....very little motion yet high speed and fluid...that should help
YOU Are out of tune....I Would tune my guitar and re upload if I were you...this is impossible to listen to...dont you at least own a tuner? I could send you one
I mean I tuned before the video so I don't know if the guitar got utuned during recording or what
@@MikayalsMusic bro im trying to be helpful not mean or anything...you cant hear how your B & G Strings are off?....your B Is 1/4 sharp and your G is about 3/4 flat...have mercy lol
if you are using a tuner and this happens?...then your guitar is in need of intonation adjustment....its kind of a big deal...your strings open/tuned sound ass up higher on the fretboard....the out of tune playing was truly awful
Yeah I know your not trying to be mean. I understand what your saying. But I just don't know how the strings got out of tune so much. Probably gonna have to check it next time. My bad thanks for your help
Any tips for songs or improving my playing? Please let me know down below!
Going to be documenting my sweep picking progress from now on. If you have any tips please let me know down below!
start a little slower and make sure you can hear every note. :)
Ok thank you I will def work on slowing it down!
Comment your favorite AFD riff, this is mine!
Yup, the other guy is right. Play at half speed, or even 1/4 (much harder) and pay close attention to your time. I suggest playing to a metronome. You will be an asset to any band if you can hold tempo. I can have friends name any song and I can tap it's tempo exactly before they play it. I concentrated on getting my rhythm playing down because of my fave player: Ed VH.
Yes i have tried using a tempo and I'll keep trying to break it down slower. I appreciate your comment a lot thanks!
Need a little work on your technique. Practice playing it slow and making all the notes hit right. Long as you keep playing will always improve
Ok thank you for the suggestion, always open to new info to improve my playing thanks!
Let's try to get this to 20 views and I'll do the next vid please!
Awesome keep working bro
Thanks man! The lesson for the whole song will be out soon.
I'll make a more in depth lesson on modes covering more of the theory side very soon!
I made a little mistake for the minor 7th chord since I was talking to fast. The notes for any minor 7th chord are as follows 1 b3 5 b7 (I said just 7)
do some justin bieber songs
Still gotta add some more guitar layers, drums, keys, and bass. But besides that any tips on tony details to add to a good backing track?
It took me 2 weeks
Oh that's nice you made some good time. Do you have it down perfectly now?
Keep up the good work man. I recommend using a metronome to get the timing right.
Thanks appreciate it. Yeah I definitely will because I'm playing it a bit faster than the recoding
You need to improve yourself
u have to practice more
Look up the term "alternate picking", you can do it with the chords of that verse too, it'll really help bro
to bad..i dont play guitar but 100% can better
Well maybe you should start you may like who knows.
