Kingdom Brass's evocative "Opener", sets the scene for an evening of audio/visual entertainment. This stirring piece penned by Andrew Duncan for John Hamilton the band's Bb Bass player in memory of his father Alexander McPhee Hamilton. It encapsulates his favourite musical styles in one piece. The piece has been adapted to highlight the band's history with video of mining and miners and is vivi...

This is a sparkling Samba performed by Kingdom Brass in what has become their signature tune, it would seem. Gavin Spowart just stands and delivers on request time after time and seems well within his comfort zone as he screams in the stratosphere range wise. Other notable performers in this piece are Helen Douthwaite -Trombone, Andrew Whitaker-Tuba, Lynsey Paterson-Drums, Vaala Ghandchi - Bass...

Kingdom Brass plays this quirky arrangement by Andrew Duncan of the timeless "Money, Money" from The show Cabaret. It highlights the versatility of the band and particularly the percusion team. Graeme Wilson plays Celeste for this rendition to great effect.

Stunning. <3 xxx
Brava
Superb playing by both these guys. Les is fantastic playing what is really a second euphonium part on his tuba. Still a beautiful sound.
I miss playing the euphonium.
Heard this growing up playing the tuba in school now years later i miss my tuba all over again i drove for his tone me and my buddies would play this for fun when life was so much simpler
B
Les makes playing e flat bass in the heavens sound positively simple, I hate him lol (joking les) :-)
The sound of these two is unbelievable. I have never heard something like this before. They lead by example. :-)
That bass player has a gorgeous tone ........so jealous.
Well done! This is excellent
David Child's is the epitome of a fine musician!
wow!
wow!!!! Beautiful playing

whos the Bb Bass player who puts in a Pedal C around 3:40 ? Dosent suit the piece at all. Very nice playing though!
Very good, i was hoping that the lead trumpet would rip the Double G at the end
You can get it from les's website, just google les neish and his website 'tuba-artist' comes up :-)
Stunning where can I buy this disc? I'm in Cape Town South Africa.
PURE BOLLOCKS.
FINALLY a band that has this down
The sheet music is now available with piano, brass band or wind band accomp!! All available from tuba-artist website
Very nicely played. As ex=principleal cornet of the now defunct Point of Ayr Colliery Band, from N Wales, I particularly enjoyed your cornet-players' solo passages (Euph wasn't half bad either, of course) :) Not the easiest piece for a brass band, despite it's slow tempo. The key to feel the emotional build... which you did!
waouw.
awesome version!!!
Scottish Band, Scottish contest. . . . hired in soloist? what about giving local talent a go . . . . this always dissatisfies me. I can't argue with the quality of the playing, excellent.
wasn't the only pro on stage with them that day, was a disgrace. they didn't win the contest they BOUGHT it !! they tried again to "buy" this years regionals with pro conductor and players and failed ;-)
I agree, SCOTLAND FOR SCOTLAND. AND NEVER BRING HOME A DAMN PRODI, CASTLE MILK FOREVER!
Its Harmen Vanhoorne a Belgian musician
@@bendevos6688 yo harmen's my conductor in new zealand now lmaoooo
not bad !!!
I love davids tone! sound nice:) Les is also pretty good!
the arrangement has not been published yet! i think les is working on it because he has had loads of interest shown
great playing.well done.
Where can i find this arrangement? I really want to play it.
I bet it broke Lee's heart to have to throw that purple coloured folding in the air!
i think this arrangement of the original sounds amazing.
Truly stunning piece, fantastic playing from 2 of the best brass players of their generation!!
