If you don't want to bleach your hair try to use manic panic or Arctic fox both brands do have strong pigmented colours especially bright red tones. My natural hair colour is a mid blonde tone and even my hair was way to dark for the colour. I tried it on four strands and only my front hair took the colour (I used the same brand as you- slightly different colour,Ginger). Just look for arctic fox/manic panic on black/dark unbleached hair

I have tried dyeing my natural 4C hair. It, absolutely, does not work. I think it only works on relaxed or bleached hair. This applies to all brands.

I've been using adore since a teen and never lightened or bleached my hair. I just let it sit for hours and also made sure I was under a dryer for 30 mins. And I applied it to dirty hair. Please stop putting bleach in our hair..its not necessary. Loreal also has a hair dye made just for dark hair-- loreal high color.

Hey girl idk if you're gonna see this but you absolutely don't Need to bleach your hair to get this color. Im very scared of bleach. But with semi/demi-permanent colors your hair does have to be prelightened so your hair will take the color. So if you did still wanna dye your hair you gotta mix the adore color with developer. What worked best for me was l'oreal high color highlights in copper. Then to maintain the colors I mix whatever adore colors I want with my conditioner and then whenever I deep condition I let the color sit in my hair for a little bit to keep the color vibrant

It didn’t work because rinses deposit color… they don’t lift. That’s what developers are for …. They lift(lighten/remove color) to allow color to deposit. it’s like dying clothes. If you took a black shirt and put orange color on it, you wouldn’t see it compared to a white shirt. Also if you have previous dye in your hair, you just deposited another layer on top. So it’s just gonna keep getting darker every time you deposit without some sort of lift. Sorry 😣 I’ve been there lol

It won't take like use a box color or add developer to the dye

I would have at least tinted it if she left it on for 17-24 hours. ESP if you add heat.
