It's said ignorance is bliss, but its actually torture after the fact. It's not a crime to be ignorant but to choose ignorance in this day and age is a damn shame plain and simple. I breastfed even in restaurants. I used a cloth diaper to give my baby privacy so people wouldn’t want to touch her. No one ever said a word. It is not necessary to pop the entire breast out, exposed to stun people. I don’t know if the women today get that. They hurt women’s causes, not help.

It is so hard to cover up when breastfeeding 😅 I always had to watch and make sure my baby can breathe and I always had to hold and squeeze my boob so that it wasn't too stretchy/excess skin. Nothing about it is sexual but it IS very freakshow so I don't blame people from not being able to look away and getting uncomfortable.

I breastfed both my kids. I did cover myself if I was out because I didn't want my breast out. My choice.

My breastfeeding daughter bought a light poncho style cover, so she can breastfeed in peace anywhere. Looks a bit like she’s wrestling a small ghost under her cover, but it gives her the modesty she desires, while allowing her to continue talking or eating in public. It’s sad she needs to do this, but it fits with her personal shyness & modesty. And she doesn’t end up feeding her child alone on a toilet seat.
