My goodness. I’ve grown so much since I first discovered this masterclass. I was either 12 or 13 when I discovered it. I am now early into my 15th year. Between then and now, I got into a bad middle school, got out and into highschool the next year, learned music theory and joined a band elective, finally gave Justice a listen, got a dog, got my first crush, was gifted a piano, came out of the closet, joined my first club, and might be getting a girlfriend (my first relationship) soon… And through all that I have consistently come back for this timeless, amazing composition. I could have genuinely believe it was created by Daft Punk themselves when I first listened to it. Seems like Ghoulie has gone through a lot, too. Those that keep coming back like me - and there are a lot more than you may think - are extremely grateful that you’ve gotten through it (harder,) better (, faster,) and stronger. Not to mention Homeland that somehow rivals this, which is an achievement comparable to rivaling Daft Punk themselves. I’m genuinely not kidding, I think it’s that good. The only other example even close is SebastiAn’s remix of Human After All. Even through delays, I think I speak for the other consistent viewers when I say we’re able to be patient for the remaster. And when it does come out, we’ll be screaming across our screens at how it was possible to make it better. (Especially the few nitwits like me that intentionally kept themselves from listening to the sneak peeks.) Until then, if you end up reading this Ghoulie, know that you’ve been a huge positive influence to a ton of people, even in a small way like remixing some “daft, punky thrash” music group. We’re now at 1.5… 2 million views when?
