Modelux TT120 Water Tower Build, Hornby, Peco, Model Railways
Great video and model 👍 Thanks
I made the full build version of this kit in N gauge. I thought it was very good.
Nice. But i personally need less modern buildings. But looking forward to their future releases.
Nothing I want no Southern Railway items no class 66 yet.
I can see this as a good addition to the TT120 world. It's not for me, as I scratch build and that keeps a unified look. That approach isn't for everyone, so this sort of build is very useful.
Nice kit 👌
An excellent hub and what a truly great community the TT community is ! Thanks Greg :)
Many thanks for your support TG
Lots of effort and research - really useful!
Glad it was helpful - let me know if there's anything I have missed
thanks. will give it a try. caroline.
Have fun!
Been in to your hub today and found it very helpful. Thanks could have spent hundreds. thanks again Caroline
Thanks Caroline - I take no responsibility for a battered credit card...🤣. Hopefully you found what you were looking for.
thanks. caroline😃
This is great! I know which category I'm going to browse first. I've been after some 1/120 scale heavy plant such as JCBs, road graders and bull dozers.
Hope you find what you want Derek.
Looks good, well done Greg. PS .how do I get hold of your uncoupling tool?
Drop me a line on the channel email and I can get that sorted. See Channel description
Thumbs up for the Hornby Forum mention!
It's a brilliant resource, and yet still plenty folk know almost nothing about it. Thanks for watching!
Was not expecting to hear my name there lol😁 Thank you, Subscribed, Liked, Bookmarked on my PC, Great idea! everything all under one roof 👍👍, I've been playing about with my own website and I'm still working out the bugs of it, not quite as easy as I thought so props to you for making this 👍"just heard the AI bit hahaha" damn i missed a trick there! 🤣
Morning Richard - if your website reflects the quality of your other work it will be superb! I did faff about with various online site builders, including the usual suspects like WordPress etc, but this one was easy for a novice. There used to be an app for non-coders called iWeb years ago which was brilliant, but it's long since been discontinued. Anyway - thanks for stopping by, taking the time to comment, and subscribing.
@@mactrains Cheers Greg, I would be lost using a HTML code way to make a website, Im using Squarespace but alot of it is frustration more than anything with how its laid out.. Take care Rich
Hi Greg, I've had a few emails telling me to watch this today! I've just been in touch via your website. Good luck with it all, Tom (Buggleskelly Station)
Awesome, thank you! That very humbling to be honest.
Well done mate looks cracking. I’ve just done my first video for my journey. I’m a complete rookie but giving it a go. Have a watch and a laugh 😂
I will check it out for sure. Great to get involved. Well done
Excellent Resource .Well done Greg.
Delighted it's finally up and running. Thanks Les!
Excellent resource. Good work, I'm sure it will be very helpful.
I hope so! If you spot anything to be added, let me know.
Great help to find the niche products, lost in the tail end of searches 👍
Glad it was helpful Andy.
Brilliant work Graig. Thank you. I'm guessing that it'll be a WIP that'll never end - a bit like painting the Forth Bridge (also railway connected)? When I get some more progress on my TT set up and layout on RUclips I'll send you a link - there can't be less experienced builders/modellers than me so if I can...
Please do send it Baz - we all started somewhere - I'd be happy to add to the list carousel of RUclipsrs. I cringe when I think of what I tried to get my poor first Jinty to do on an old cupboard as baseboard...!
Looks brilliant, well done Greg
One might say I'm 'chuffed' you like it... groan!
Absolutely wonderful.
Very kind Trevor. Glad you like it
Fantastic Greg it’s exactly what I need 😏
Great Dave - and apologies in advance to your credit card... 😁
Looks good, but what is the URL? Can't find a link to it anywhere in your post or video
Thought it was just me who couldn't find it
@@Paul-e3mI thought it might just be me! 😂
Link now added to description - apologies!
@@mactrainsno worries, thanks for adding it quickly
I maybe stupid but how do I find this, is there a link?
Link now added to description - thank for noticing - If I had a memory I'd be dangerous...
Thanks
Very nice work. Is this something that is only available on smart phones?
no, it works on any computer with internet connectivity - or at least it should!!
Top stuff, well done Greg
Thanks again Chris - Camelot is doing nicely too!
Wot - no link to AnyRail (WIndows only? Current version 7)? Yes, I know the website isn't (quite!) finished. Fantastic idea, though. Do you have the time/resources to keep it updated (not only finding up-to-date content, but also loading it to the website)?
Aye - Anyrail would be a useful addition - will try and remember when its live - if not do remind me please. As for time and resources - almost certainly not!! But I'll do my best...
@@mactrains 👍
I feel like I've been "outed" 😆 Really looking forward to the Hub.
Thats my way of making sure you watched to the end...!
Must take a look at the "hub"
Thanks Andrew - its not quite live yet, but hopefully coming soon!
Greg, thanks for the update.
No worries
Oh no ! More places to spend my money 😁
The modeller's perpetual dilemma!!
Thank you very much - and you've got mail 😉
Great!
Thanks for the update Greg.
No worries
Waiting with baited breath for this to go live. Will save many entries in my Bookmarks folders. May I suggest you have a link page only to Continental Suppliers of TT120 Webb sites, many products are quite suitable for U.K. use.
Excellent idea, this will prove to be very useful. We owe you a gratitude.
Glad it was helpful, but let's see if I can get out the full website and make it all work properly! Hopefully soon.
I have not seen your U tube before. It is good to see more TT120 U Tubers coming on line as it shows the popularity of this gauge is increasing. People like you definitely help to spread the awareness and popularity which can only have a positive effect on the hobby. So well done!
Welcome aboard John - always great to have new voices join in the comments. Much appreciated
Hi did you include the Lighting kits from INTLX Productions that Peachy TT120 did a review on?
Thanks for this catch - no I haven't yet - will look into it though.
Aye, quite a model and quite an achievement by everyone involved. Just sair I canna get involved m'self. A good day out. Cheers!
Your comment made me smile - in which case I suspect - job done! Thanks
Looking forward to the hub. . I’m building a tt120 layout and eagerly waiting for new things.
Coming soon! Hopefully within about two weeks.
Great idea, especially for us ‘elderly’ new modellers. Look forward to it going live.
Thanks John - new modellers or all ages and stages are a welcome addition!
What about magnetic couplings
I haven't actually tried magnetics myself. I like the idea of them for coaches, but less so for freight, where the strong magnet pull when they couple feels somehow wrong to me! Just personal preference of course.
For now I’ll stick to my oo gauge though liking what I see 👍
Thanks Elaine - OO will always be at the heart of the hobby in the UK, and there is plenty of OO stuff that I don;t ever intend to part with!
I think you’d missed Anyrail off the layout planning software
Yes, good point - I will rectify that. Thanks Damian
Great stuff Greg. 🚂
Thanks Lindsay🎉
Thanks
Brilliant! As a TT120 'Toe Dipper', this is exactly what's wanted. Very well done!
That's really good to hear, and I hope its of help to you once its live.
Great idea. Well done.
Glad you like it!
Thanks Greg. This little job has potential to grow... and grow! Thanks for your effort on this 😊
So nice of you, thanks for commenting
Hi Greg. Not a bad effort at all. I think I might struggle to to add the wire and make the signal operable.
Hi Paul - very kind of you. From any kind of distance I am happy with my efforts. Any flaws are my own fat fingers to blame, not the model...!
Going to be a great help to us all thsnks
Excellent Ian, thanks for the encouragement.
Ok, I will send you a larger list on the Hornby forum tonight or tomorrow.
Thanks you!
@@mactrains No problem. As expected, I got home from work late on Friday, but now I've got around to it and have written the list for you in the Hornby-TT120 forum, complete with a rough description.
