@@justin1556 Yes...the camera ultimately cost $525 to replace the main pcb. Obviously a main pcb failure is not caused by the user, and the camera was less than 16 months old. (Just out of warranty). I remembered that I bought it with a Visa card that had a double the original warranty benefit. I called for clarification, submitted a claim, and the extended warranty covered the repair. Overall the experience with Sony was disappointing, however in the end I have the camera back, they updated the firmware to 3.02 and it seems to work fine. This is likely to be the last firmware update it ever gets. ;)

@@jnystrom1237 what you think? Will they repair my camera? Bcz my camera is just 11 month old ' Because they give 2 years warranty with their cameras.

Intenta usar una fuente de alimentación externa con la cámara y descarga el firmware del sitio web oficial. Si está en garantía, Sony debería ayudarte. Espero que el problema de tu cámara se resuelva pronto.
