What is it actually 'Bypassing' ? looks like a couple of dozen houses at most!
It’s alleged it will ease the flow of traffic from how it is now down from windy harbour to the river wyre. Whilst not massive it will be dual instead of single carriage way. So I do believe it will help but just move current issues further along
@@vertigodrone Firstly, let me say, great video! very interesting, clear and concise! Secondly, as you say 'allegedly'. I have to agree with about it just moving the flow problem from one place to another, replacing the roundabout with a dogs dinner of a set of lights.... not a good idea!
They have a queue in both directions...let's hope the new road helps.
Beautiful footage! Know that area well! Spent my teenage years there in the mid to late 80s with my mum. Went to the secondary school on the hill. It had a lot fewer buildings then!!

Totally agree with you. There’s the river wyre lights and bridge to sort. Somehow the garstang road bit which I suspect will cause chaos and the singleton end looks struggling. We may be wrong…….but I doubt it 😂

Great work. Wonderful countryside on our doorstep. Where exactly are the abandoned buildings at 3:38 located? I am thinking somewhere like Corcas Lane? Say no to Gas Storage and Preesall Quarry!

is that pleasurebeach park directly in the flight path of blackpool airport runway? probably less then a mile from take off? did you have to get permissions?? i would like to fly around this area but thought it was restricted so I havent bothered to make the trip yet
Hi. The no fly area goes around the seaward side towards the sandcastle. You can easily fly round it by watching the screen on DJI drones if that’s what you have. I always use my mini 2 there though just to save any other issues. Fly over etc. hope this helps
@@vertigodrone ah sweet, thanks for this, and yes I have the mavic 3, So I am limited to where I can take off and land to a point, but the restricted areas are the same for any drone, but if there is some open space like you have explained then I should be good to go, may head over on my next time down, are you local to blackpool?

The Tower is Looking a Lot better with all the "new lights" on it now, some of the light display performances are awesome, one thing this clowncil got right,....
