Actualicé a la última versión de android y ahora se queda en bucle en la pantalla del logo, en bucle. Sin parar. Una y otra vez. Por mucho que hago el hardreset con los botones de OK+Atrás, no funciona. Sigue en el mismo bucle sin parar. Es la versión MDZ-22-AB.
My mi box stopped working and never turned on i tried everything i can't do anything is there i reset bottom on the device ? Not on the remote ? If the remote is not working can i use another mi box remote ? If the device is turned off ?

This box is a piece of crap since the day I got it. Remote has to be reconnected almost every time. Be watching a movie,utube,etc.and the thing just freezes up and then restarts in the middle.thing gets super hot no air holes. ITS A PIECE OF CRAP!! sorry just venting so I don't smash it.
I tried this and failed many times. Then i realised how to do it. As soon as you plug in the cable press ok and back key BEFORE you see anything. If you cant make it work, try the other way. Switch the box on. Long press power key and select restart. As soon as the screen goes black press the OK and back button. Dont wait for the mi logo to come on, if you wait for that it s too late.
After trying numerous times what worked for me was....I took the batteries out of the remote for ten seconds, then unplugged the MiBox. While holding down the back(arrow) button and the middle(select) button simultaneously with one hand, i plugged the MiBox and at around 13 seconds the Recovery screen came up. The key for me was taking the batteries out of the remote and inserting them back in, Hope this helps.

I have the latest 4K Mi Box and none of the button tricks worked. Finally looked in the settings menu and there was a Factory Reset option right there all along.
good for those who can actually get to the settings, I need to do the reset using whatever trick is needed since this box doesn't have a reset button as any normal box does.
It worked, after I plugged the tv box to the socket wall.

I unplugged mines for 2-3 minutes. Next I plugged in the power. If that doesn't work try a different HDMI connection on your device while powered on.
