I myself am an volunteering Firefighter in Germany and whish to pay my respect to all firefighters in the USA. I know how dangerous the job can be, even if we have some luck as well, like one young busdriver whom risked his own life by stopping his bus on a mayor road to block it, so our Firebrigade could cross the intersection as no other driver seemed to be willing to stop for us. The young driver to a Medal, a promotion and a few other things and a BIG thankyou from the Family.

I'm sorry for your loss. Being a EMT firefighter and arson investigator for 48 years still hurts and I'm praying for you and his family and department

I’m hoping to be a ceremonial unit in either the military or emergency services like some of the firefighters shown in the video. I’m not supposed to cry, but I almost did. No casket or urn should ever be so small, but some are. I’m grateful that her local fire department and plenty other people have so much for her even if it seemed there was no hope. She was happy regardless of the situation and always made sure that it wasn’t about her, it was about her firefighter friends and 2nd family. Fly high Fire girl 15A1, fight the devil’s fires with God in heaven.

Made me cry, I was with the Philadelphia Fire Department, Snorkel 28 "A" Platoon. Loosing a firefighter is one of the hardest things ANYONE can go through. Rest In Peace Addi.

So many poeple talking about god, and he never fail...so explain me THIS! This girl cant did anything wrong in her short life! I`ll never understand such heartbreaking things...and why they should deserve!

Can’t imagine the pain that family feels. My condolences to that precious little girls family. Like many comments here, I have no connections to the fire department but still I’d like to pay my respects to someone gone too soon from this earth. It’s amazing how her local fire department gave so much to her, even in the hardest of times they wanted to make her happy, and hopefully she looked down on earth and saw that even in death her 2nd (or 3rd I’m not sure if she was adopted or not) family remembered her. When that bagpiper played “Going Home” you could hear their emotions, it’s sounded like they got even more sad when her ashes were getting closer to the door.

Not to be rude but how did she die ??

I just found out about everything. This breaks my heart, he was such a an amazing guy with such a pure golden heart. We lost a good man on earth and heaven gained a perfect angel. I still can’t believe this is real.
