Pendleton Woolen Mills was actually founded and incorporated in 1895 by Theron E. Fell, Edwin Y. Judd and their partners. The Bishop Brothers just bought the successful business and well-known name before the company was moved to Portland or was sold to someone else. The Bishop Family have done a phenomenal job since they bought the mill in 1909, but they should recognize and publish their earlier history.
