Thank you bro! I’ve been seriously practicing for like 7-8 years now, primarily playing older school metal, then djent. The first time I really tried anything more than a traditional blast in something like Slipknot was for the archspire video haha

Thank you for the advice bro! I really don’t actually have an intention to play music this fast, and didn’t really audition to get the part, it was just a little challenge for me. The raw speed and stuff wasn’t the main problem for me, it was that I’ve never actually gravity blasted before I found out about the audition

I buy all my stuff from long and mcquade. I’m playing a Yamaha live custom oak kit. All my cymbals are Sabian aax line. 17 and 19 inch x plosion crashes, 10 aax splash, 12 inch x plosion hats, and 19 inch x treme china. The stack is two broken cymbals, another x plosion china + some sort of xsr crash cymbal. I have clear evans g2s on top and g1s on the bottom for toms, an evans heavyweight for the snare batter, and an emad two for the kick batter. I have dw3000 series pedals and just sort of buy whatever for cymbal hardware
