Evo 8 Antilag setup DBW
Using link G4+ ecu, we were able to use a subaru electronic throttle to convert the evos mechanical throttle to DBW. Loud antilag and better reliable idle can be achived. no more failing idle valve.

Just doing some test on two 1JZ the modelista was on low 0.7-0.5bars vs mark 2 on a water meth only with boost controller to 1bar boost. The modelista has an agressive tune with plenty of loud detonation with 87oct. while the gtb with meth is alot safer.@j-spec @gtptz

old but how’s the turbo held up?
About 2 years at max duty then failed. Another GTX 2867 two of them still running 4 years at 1.5 to 1.8 bars. And another other 2 failed on 1000Km and 5000km. Moved on to Arashi kuro black series, they flow more n seem reliable

One short question, how much power can handle a Colt CZT with a factory engine that has traveled about 160,000 km withstand I installed a manual boost controller, it’s currently at 1.2 bar, so I’m wondering if I can raise it further and by how much? Thanks a lot !
As long as you can limit the torque, The engine should last long, If you run a lot of boosts and have good fuel you can bend rods or throw a rod at high gear pull 4-5gear pull.

Yes, microsquirt is used as TCU and ms3 as ECU helps the gearbox survive

It all depends on the price you are getting the parts for and condition. It is straight forward swapping so I guess worth it. Swapping allows you to get the JDM 5speed which is fun

Im getting 247whp on td04L with just 15psi And 290whp with td05... Jdm ej20 with single avcs... Sounds like u need prooer ecu tune especially if u were running open pod air filter with adaptor
TD05 at about 10psi should make more power than TD04 at 15psi as 15psi is almost a heat pump from TD04. Where as at 10psi the TD05 is flowing more air mass and at a lower temp as its not cooking the air. also pod filter with adapter should be removed as there are NO Adapters on market that dont alter MAF readings. Also the stock Airbox can easily push 300-350HP and its Cold air intake. Subaru intake upgrades like that only improve noise levels
