Origami Pumpkin
A 3 dimensional pumpkin model made from 2 sheets of A sized paper. The units lock together really well, so no need for "glue". This is fun to make, there may be a lot of pre-creasing, but it is easy and not too repetitive.

Origami Christmas Wreath

This is a simple and effective origami wreath. Holds together nicely and is foldable from all kinds of paper. There are quite a few units (48 leaves and 16 ring modules) so it does take quite a while to make one. The completed ring in the video took just under 3 hours to make.
Origami pop-up cube (Snappy Cube)

This pop-up cube is a 2 piece modular fold.It works with any kind of paper. I made a really nice one using 12 inch thin card. I have also designed a single sheet version that uses a 3x7 rectangle. Dollar bills also work.
Abstract Elephant

There are lots of origami elephants, but this one is a bit different. Designed in 2019 this model is minimalist and easy to fold, and yet has a very distinctive look.

This model has a lot of potential for variation. As a suggestion, try using a 4x4 grid to make a 16 pointed star.

It sounds like a confession, but it has been 6 months since my last video. This is a fun model which is not too difficult to fold. Having said that, the final locking fold can be a little tricky.

This origami flower from a single square has a fun folding sequence that generates lots of points to make the petals. It is always nice to get feedback, so please let me know how you get on.
Origami Kermit The Frog

I call this a Costa Rican glass frog in the video, but I designed the model when I was asked to make a Kermit the Frog. So I think it is time to call a frog a frog.
Simply Awkward

This is a nice geometric model that requires 6 squares to fold. I cannot name the geometric solid, so instead I have called it "Simply Awkward". This is because the units are "simple" to fold, and the "awkward" part is the assembly. Actually. it's not that difficult, as you will see. "Simply Awkward" would also make a good title if I ever wrote an autobiography.
Origami Owl

This owl model came to be from a puppet head model that will be in another tutorial. The eyes looked a bit owlish, and I found a way to make some owl feet, then the ears appeared from nowhere. That's one of the great fascinations of origami, you start with one idea and end up somewhere completely unexpected. Hope you like the mode, and please leave comments, or photos of how your model turned out.

The rainbow is more symbolic than ever at the moment. Here is my origami version. Sorry for the slight autofocus problem, it is only for a few seconds. I will re-film this some time, but I am out of large paper!

This was one of my first videos and I was still getting used to making tutorials. All my recent videos have spoken instructions. Maybe one day, I will re-make this video. Hope you managed to make it in the end.

I am going to replace this video when I get a chance. I have found a much easier way of folding an improved version of this model.

Not clear at all. No words explaining anything. I cannot get the triangle flaps the right shape because your fingers block the sight of whatever you're doing and you don't explain anything of what your doing. 😞 I have been making and folding origami since 2009 and I can't even figure out after watching 50 times what the heck you did. Remake the video with explanation so it's easier please
This was my first ever video, so I agree it is not very good. I want to help, but I am not sure what stage you are having trouble with. If you let me know what time in the video, I will see if I can help.One other suggestion - there are diagrams for this model on my website, which is shown on the closing credit.
Hi Robin, you can stop at critical points and simply show your model for a second. That just helps all of us getting on the same page.

My man is skill
Today I was going to mail my 6 year old grand daughter a red kangaroo as a part of a story we are building. She lives half way around the world, and I am trying to do origami with her to make stories. But it is going to have to wait for tomorrow, as this little doll must travel with the kangaroo. I wonder what adventures they are going to have.

What kind of paper do you use? I tried it with my paper, but the creases were too crisp and the paper didn't "pop" into 3D
Any kind of paper should work. It may be that a couple of layers have locked together and the pop needs a bit of encouragement. What size and type of paper did you use?
@@robinglynnorigami7274 3in by 3in Origami Paper by Daiso. Maybe I'll try larger paper then?
@@mathwithmisha1928 Just made one with 3 inch paper and it worked fine. One thing I did notice is that it is possible to assemble with the layers not all connected the same way. This may well stop the model from popping into shape. Examine how I join the units and make sure that yours are done the same way.
