I only seemed to find work at places that closed down at some point.I worked 9 years at one place left and came back just for them to close.Working at these places hugely effected my mental health as I would eventually stress to get to 305 pounds and the job require me to lift weights on my own time as I couldn't do the job otherwise.My schedule was ever changing or adjusted or was on call for 5 or 8 in the morning jobs.If you tried to get another job or make plans one job or another would sabotage that.I asked for one night off a week and was a wednesday and had to fight for that for months to keep that.I didn't how much arguing or upseting things were happening on top of lifting 300 to 600 pound items maybe more solo and couldn't rational my pay or safety.I do not want to have paranio consistently and want to be happy or at willing to continue working somewhere.

Love the Hobbit so much! and Ray Bradbury! As a trans person, I am still waiting for everyone to hopefully slowly move away from the HP grip. But alas, so it goes, it was a staple, it will take time.

I got really into booktube in 2018/2019 and followed all the big creators. And then I definitely got burned out and exhausted watching hours upon hours of hauls and tbrs and shelf rearranging. Now I only follow smaller creators who aren't reading the hype books and just read slowly whatever they want and do cozy atmospheric videos, like you!

The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton is my recommendation for more cozy vibes. Dracul by Dacre Stoker and JD Barker is a fictionalized version of what inspired Bram Stoker. Uprooted by Naomi Novik has a creepy/magical forest. I was worried I wouldn't have any recommendations, because you shared a lot of the ones I love for this time of year. 😉😂

Thank you for these recommendations! 📚🧡 I think it's great that there are so many different genres mixed in here - and I love the idea of the mood boards for the books 😍 I always like to recommend "Small Favours" by Erin A. Craig for autumn, which is a bit like the film "The Village". I reread it each year 🍂🍁

I love anything by Sarah Addison Allen and the historical fiction book Finding Dorothy by Elizabeth Letts.. You have a few of my favorites on your list like Discovery of Witches, Historian, and The Haunting of Hill House.

1.The Wicked Enchantment by Margot Benary-Isbert reads like it would be a Studio Ghibli film. Cute, whimsical, and definitely autumnal enough for your tastes. 2. The Little Broomstick by Mary Stewart is similar to Kiki’s Delivery Service and has a movie based on it called Mary and the Witch’s Flower if you haven’t seen it yet. 3. A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin is not really autumn, but it has a wizard if you want another wizard adventure. The first one can stand alone, but it is a series. Hope there is something here you like!
