Race one of round 3 of the IRRC, at the IMATRANAJO event in Finland. After a tough qualifying, I dropped the clutch a little too quick and wheeled off the line. managed to hold on to the group for a few laps, unfortunately was caught and lapped just a few corners form the finish line.

Well after almost missing the race and having to start from Pit lane. the start was delayed so was able to join the back of the grid. A great start that ended with a front end fold ... well back to the drawing board LOL

Well I had a plan and then tried too hard and kept making mistakes. We finished though so all is good.

Well after a lot of waiting and some mixed conditions, we got race one of round 2 underway. Qualified at the back, but with a strong field it was a start and some improved times.

After a wet qualifying and getting 5th on the grid. We had a good tussle with one of the Army and RAF team finishing in 7th.

The first IRRC race of the season in the super sport class saw me qualify in 21st place, however with a good start and some luck we finished in 17th place.

After qualifying on day one, I was in the SuperTwins B race in 11th. Unfortunately a rider came off so it was flagged. Rider was ok, if you look close you can see where his rear went off the road.

First weekend of road racing at the Spring Cup. The first B race of the Sundays racing. Got a fair start and managed to hold position. Didn't realise till about an hour after the race that I'd come in 3rd with the front 2 crashing out.

First weekend of road racing at the Spring Cup. After qualifying for the A race on the Saturday I was back in the B race. Starting from 5th I managed to get a good start and hold on to get 4th. Gutted for the racer in front losing his chain only 100m from the finish.

Nice one Luge, fast and smooth. I have the same bike ZX6R but 2009 and I am planning to race at NW200 this year, was at the MGP in 2023. Which gearing do you recommend? 15x41? 16x41? Thanks mate and hopefully I'll meet you in the paddocks if you are back ;)
Thank you, I'll have to check the sheets but I think it was 15 x 42. I will ask one of the other lads who ran a 16 front. Do you Know Rad Hughs?

Ok he races the Manx and is one of the instructors. He is the one I'll ask about the gearing. Make sure you do a valve check before you go to make sure they good to go. I never did the twin and I payed the price.@@juliencregniot147

I was the one keeping the last place warm LOL. I had a look and I started with 15/43 then 15/42, I did the race with 15/41 but the 15/42 was the better option for speed and drive.@@juliencregniot147

There were a few things that went wrong further down the track which led to too much speed. Not too badly hurt, broken jaw broken arm and fractured sternum.
@@lugeracing Glad you wasn't too bad. Could have been way worse. Plans to go back?(if they race it next year?)

Hi. I run with a GoPro 7 black in the front and a GoPro hero session in the rear No added bits. Just the cameras The audio is captured by the 7 black.

Yeah not sure what happened there. It got stuck at 10k revs. Tried some different gearing, which didn’t help.

Do you notice the speed during the race or does your brain adjust and everything slows down inside your head, if you know what I mean.
You do for the first few laps, but then you start to fail in and see more.

It’s a 2012 Zx6r. Old but still has some punch.

Church bends is a tricky bend. Apart from the crash, you put in some decent laps, great onboard video. Good to learn from the footage for anyone wanting to race the southern.

All back together. Raced there again the next year. Hard lesson but good to be back at it.
I'll be honest though. I saw the wobble and I think you panicked. You weren't that fast in (but too fast into the bales). You could've chucked it in. But you stayed upright. Even if you came off chucking it in you may have gone down middle of the chicanery or a more glancing blow than the head on you did have. All learning though and more bollocks than me. Glad you made it through. I wondered about you for a long time. Didn't think I'd ever find out

The biker doesn't fucking remember the map, that was his problem otherwise he speeds up the bike in seconds.
theres another video from front and hes off line so many times! you can hear it in the rpms !! he almost crashed multiple times!! dont they revoke their racers card or just wait to kill themselves or injury others! this aint no way to race👎🏻
