Good presenter and great humor. I think the theology is absurd, but obviously he's committed to it.

I'm sorry, this is just demonstrably incorrect; and seems to demonstrate a complete blind spot of animal behavioral science. I know there's a strong desire to view things from your theological perspective. However, there's tons of controlled scientific studies where animals choose to delay gratification (food, etc.) in order to help or cooperate with other individuals. There's also a large body of evidence suggesting our perceived "free will" isn't as free as we think it is.

Wanting his clothes to look beautiful isn't a problem but the real arrogance comes from belittling/looking down on others and rejecting the truth.

Wow, this is a rambling bunch of... stuff, isn't it? Where to even _start?_ I was wondering about the "Debate on Atheism," but I can't even find it. Well, I'll just comment here and there, I guess. _"If you've been born in a Muslim household, you already know the answer"_ And if you've been born in a Christian household or a Hindu household or a Jewish household... or taught from infancy to believe in any _other_ religion, you already know the answer, too - _different_ answers, of course, with not even *one* piece of good evidence backing them up, as far as I can tell. But you all _think_ you know the answer, huh? Why should I believe you? Why should I believe _you_ instead one of those other faith-based people who contradict you? Why should I believe _any_ of you as long as you have nothing distinguishable from wishful-thinking backing up the religion you were almost always just taught to believe as a child? _"You're going to die."_ I agree. I don't like it much. :) But I agree. _"You're going to be resurrected."_ *Evidence?* _"You're going to be standing before Allah"_ *Evidence?* I know that's what you _want_ to be true. I suppose you were raised from infancy to believe that, so you really, really _want_ it to be true. But do you have anything _other_ than wishful-thinking backing up your religious beliefs? _"If you went to an atheist, and you said the purpose of life was to worship God"_ I'd ask you for evidence that your claim was actually _true._ Indeed, I'd ask you for evidence that your god even _exists,_ let alone the rest of that. And what would you say _then?_ Well, you'd likely run away, right? Typically, that's been my experience with Muslims, so far. Christians, too, for the most part (although questioning Islam gets you _killed_ in majority Muslim countries, so Muslims mostly seem astonished that anyone would even _ask_ for evidence). _"Prior to the Enlightenment, no one would walk around saying that they're gay"_ Of course not. They'd be murdered - maybe even burned alive - or at least arrested. No one admits that in majority Muslim countries even _today,_ do they? That doesn't mean there aren't homosexuals, of course. It just means that threats of violence work pretty well at keeping people from admitting it (and from admitting their nonbelief, too). You don't have to kill very many people in order to keep the rest from telling the truth. Isn't religion _great!_ <LOL> _"It was a pure gift from Allah"_ *Evidence?* You sure make a lot of claims, don't you? Too bad you don't back up those claims with anything - *anything* - distinguishable from wishful-thinking. Well, this comment is long enough, already. And although you ramble on and on, you _still_ haven't gotten to the "debate on atheism." So I guess I'll stop here. Sorry. Claims simply aren't enough for me. _Every_ religion makes claims, because it's just so _easy_ to make claims. But you can't _all_ be right, because you contradict each other. (You _can_ all be wrong, though.) But, if you _do_ have evidence backing up your religious beliefs, let's hear *one specific example* - just *one* piece of good evidence, specific enough and in enough detail that I can judge it for myself. Because I've certainly never heard any. It's always just claims about what you really, really _want_ to be real.
