I barely have any memories but i do know this show was formative for me, learnt more from this than actual history class im pretty sure. Tho weirdly enough the ony clip i could recall before watching the video was a random bit about people showing off fruits and eating a banana wrong, i have no clue why. Forgot how much modern show parody there was in this. Also lol comments saying they just got the chastity joke when im pretty sure thats the only joke that should've gone over my head that didnt, i do not get the noose at ten joke even now, im guessing part of it is a news at ten pun due to phrasing but was that all it is?

My journey find this series/venting and for some info I’m Icelandic 18 yo nb and ofc autistic and got adhd but who doesn’t in Iceland. 1 got annoyed at Americans 2 got annoyed at Americans And then again and again so I gave up and watched all the British shows and movies but then I got annoyed at the Americans cus they’ve got Netflix and they are homophobic and cancel everything I love soooo, got vpn got on iplayer watch drwho and all of the universe in that not the old one yet but eehh well u know. Then bla bla bla watch smt else and then found ghosts and then this. And honestly American television is overrated. And if you’re wondering why I don’t watch í Icelandic shows ….. I do but they mostly murder mystery’s and sad stuff and I already work w criminals and people w bad mental health or smt like that I just wanna watch my stupid shows and not worry about (name) cus he’s on millions of pills and that other teen that died. Ty that was my vent today❤ gn and remember when life’s shii watch something kids watch.

Horrible Histories was something I would have absolutely loved and absorbed when I was younger. In this day and age I wish others could appreciate and post their appreciation on this type of humour. It’s campy, or “cringe”, but it’s worthwhile and informative.

Haven't watched this all yet but off the top of my head my favourite joke in the whole show was the masterchef parody where the guy is counting down the time during a montage and its like "5 minutes... 4 minutes... 3 minutes... 8 minutes" and then the other host looks at him confused and hes like "yeah 8 minutes" That joke has stayed rent free in my head for 15 years Edit: 6:20 I suspect they did the joke a few times because I don't remember what the main host said but the 'punchline' one was definitely 8 minutes.
