Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick & Nova Scotia - July 2024

A wonderful holiday on Isla Mujeres thanks to Christine Simon and Arturo Delfin Amaya. After many years of hoping to see a whale shark while diving in countless locations around the world - we travelled with one intent this time... and we finally saw them. They do exist!

Over land and under sea. Our trip highlights from Parts 1 and 2, the Mt. Hagen "Sing Sing" cultural festival, and visits to the Sepik River basin and Tari Highlands. My first time diving in Indonesia - and what can I say? Well worth the nearly 40 hours of travel to get to Raja Ampat. Also a new camera, which has some pros and cons, but I'll call it a learning experience. My deepest Thank You to the entire crew of the spectacular vessel, the Arenui. Wonderful service, wonderful hospitality, and epic diving. Cheers

After all these years, 2019 was my first visit in Italy. Why it took so long I have no idea. Jerry had been 30 years ago, so it was a trip of discovery and (re)discovery for both of us. Millions of words have been written about the personality of Paris, and I'm sure mine are nothing new. But if Paris were a person - I'd have a crush.

1982. I was a sixteen year old suburban kid who'd never been anywhere, let alone a yacht in Antigua. But over the airwaves (OK, over cable) came this video of five Brits with funky hair and makeup sailing around the Caribbean in macaron-colored suits. Yep, that's where I wanted to be. Hell, that's WHO I wanted to be. So here, all these years later, is my homage to that 16 year old fanboy. A lit...

Sharks everywhere! So many we lost count on most dives. Hundreds. Shot in the Tuamotu Archipelago while diving aboard the M/Y French Polynesia Master - February 2018. Atolls visited: Fakarava, Apataki, Kuaehi, Toau, Rangiroa.

Fragments. That's all that was left of my primary memory card after this trip. Split right in two, somewhere between Cairo and the states. Talk about the Mummy's Curse. So this video is assembled from what was left - like a proper archeological project. :) At any rate, great diving, great company, great trip. Cheers and safe travels to all. Aboard the M.V. Bilikiki 2012 (Originally Posted 2013) This was an early attempt at footage using a GoPro camera. It's taken me more than a year to finally compile and weed out the bad stuff. I've learned a lot, and am anxious to get better. I've found that the GoPro focal length isn't so great for closeups - but now with the introduction of some new lenses, we may be getting better Macro foota...

A spectacular trip, thanks to the warmth and generosity of our hosts, new friends, and all the gracious people of Jordan.

In 2004 I visited Japan for the first time. I've wanted to go back ever since, so it seemed the perfect gift to myself for my 50th. I love it there and once again, can't wait to return.
