I went with my parents to the don Franklin dealership near there and I heard lots of trains go by and there was a pretty good view between the trees

Honestly I think some of the lead engines are off because, for that to be 4 locos in the front and a rear dpu that’s workin it’s butt off that must have been over 100 cars atleast
@@Railfan6708 The typical consist of NS 167 is 3 Locomotives up front and a DPU in the Middle or Back of train and it averages about 125-145 Railcars in length. The 4th Locomotive wasn't running but the rest of them were.

When was this video shot? I just shot this same engine at Glendale Ohio just north of Cincinnati this evening 6/13/24. Pulling a train of gondolas which appeared empty. I assume it was 60 C because it had two engines for head end power and maybe 50-70 empty gondolas. I ended up going back and watching my video. I think I counted 95 empties.🙏❤️👍
This was taken back on May 31st. I guess Norfolk Southern is holding the Heritage Unit on 60C for a while.

@@RABSTRAINS I believe it originates at Chattanooga TN (that's what the "C" stands for,) not sure what the destination is.

My ex wife is from Burgin. Her family owned property at KY 33 and Paradise Camp Rd.
We scan NS's road frequency at work. They'll call us if someone is on the tracks or a car is horsing around a grade crossing.

Faulkner Station Rd was always one of my favorite spots. Another good spot is in Burgin at the grade crossing.
