I'm a red and although watching everton lose is great and hilarious, deep down (and i think a lot of other liverpool fans would agree), we don't want to see you go down. I honestly believe that if they do, the odds of them coming back up are so slim for a good while. If they can somehow see out this season and remain in the prem, they will have their new stadium ready for 24/25 and can generate the revenue and then eventually buy a striker so they can start scoring and winning games.

It's really kind of hilarious that people are saying man utd are still looking the same team despite changing managers and still can't realise the managers aren't really the major issue in that club. We have finally got the right people in place to oversee the club performance, and standard if ETH doesn't meet does standard, he will surely be sack, regardless of what we fans thinks he's good or not. ETH might be here for 2 years, but the main problem in that club was rectified just 3 months ago. If you think just because we signed new players, things should just change, this just means you haven't noticed how far we have fallen as a football club.

You spend money on better players, how is that different than any other club that has plans to move up? I belive what Wrexham has done is spend money wisely, by getting a good manager and signing a good mix of experience and youth to navigate the leagues.

I'm not concerned about players leaving, we now need to see the 49ers use the market and bring in players that can help us get out of this league. Rutter probably does have a high season but its clear he isn't a 10, would have loved to seen him on the wing. DF spoke about our lack of experience last year so hopefully we bring players in with some composure in the big games.

I agree with you whole heartedly. I think the reason why prices are going up because of not only supply and demand but also inflation. Reselling has also become a rampant issue and these businesses feel like they could make these prices higher as long as the fans are willing to pay.

I dont think booing your own players is ever helpful. The Manager selects the team, the buck should stop with him. It only serves to harm the confidence and commitment of the player and will distract the rest of the squad, especially the players who are close to them.

Actually this discussion is pretty similar to any Pompey fans discussion on the last few years . We won the Championship of League one after several near misses . Taking a chance on the right manager just did the trick . No illusions about the Championship with the parachute sides have a big financial advantage but Leeds will certainly be there at the end. As for Pompey we'll be happy to stay up , but anything is possible .
