Im Rückblick gefallen mir dieses Album aber auch "33 Tage in Ketten" ganz besonders gut. Ich mochte beide Alben auch schon damals aber heute tatsächlich noch viel mehr. Eine sehr interessante Entwicklung nach dem Über-Album von 1980 der Fehlfarben und den DAF Alben.

It's just bad. I understand what he's doing, but he does not do it well.His techniqe is poor, too heavy-handed, tuneless, formless foolery. Give me fast and bulbous every time. Like the mascara snake said "Frank's good but Don is the real thing" And this guy is a pretender.

Dennys King was my mentor in the music business. He was such a cool guy. He was what was known as a studio musician, meaning he would record guitar tracks for different musicians and groups in the studio, but at the time only the members of the band got credited, not the studio musicians. Thankfully that has changed. Dennys played for the "Righteous Brothers ", and even did their sound checks for them so they didn't have to do them. He also played for the monkees. Originally the music was just a part of the show but the guys weren't actually a band. Peter was the only one who actually knew how to play at the time, so when their music took off Denny recorded for them and taught the guys how to play. At first Denny would play off stage and they would run line to the amo on stage but once the guys become proficient denny was no longer needed. His most well known track that he recorded for them was 'last train to Clarksville "- if you've heard the monkees you definitely know that song. During his career Denny got a couple of gold albums. (I saw them. They were cool!) He got them for the original batman theme song, and the twilight zone theme song which is called "outer limits." When I met Denny he was playing ifor the church we went to. We recorded an album under the group name "the watchmen'. Unfortunately Denny passed away before we were able to do anything with it. I have the rights to the album and have often dreamt of reworking it and releasing it as a tribute to Denny, and perhaps as a fundraiser for the American heart association, since Denny passed from a heart attack because at the time of his death he wasn't insured and couldn't afford his medication. That's not how a musician like he was to end his story. The last thing I'll mention about him was a pet project that hw was working on. He was working with a composer to produce a show for Broadway, called "monsters"- it combined all of the classic monsters into one musical. The music was pretty good. I was supposed to arrange and record some of the songs to get them ready for air time on the radio but sadly they lost their backer and without funding the project died.
