I like that the dub did the same thing and brought back Haruhi’s dub VA for Konata. She also only got the role of Konata because she played Haruhi

It's been 15 years but I only just noticed the subtle gag of Kagami replying to Konata's Haruhi impression with an exasperated "Yare yare". Slick.
