Arent they technically blood related?
Link and Zelda aren't blood related if that's what you're asking. Zelda is the reincarnation of the godess Hylia, and each of her decendant are also Zelda, so all Zeldas are blood related. However, Link is just a random person reincarnated with the spirit of the hero, and not necessarily blood related to the previous Link (however, we know that in one case, the hero of twilight is a decendant of the hero of time, but this seems to be a one-off)
