Great Work, However I recommend you to put HVAC equipment on the roof of the buildings, It doesn't have to be realistic, just enough to give the illusion of realism, you could also use different materials for the roofs, instead of just 50%stone and 50%andesite. Also, you need some greenery, it's very soulless at the moment in downtown, don't be scared to use bigger trees, and put some greenery on the roof too. You don't have to do what I say, however give it a try and see what you get.

i actually dont know. from the front to back probably around 40-30 blocks and then from the sides 20 blocks

i mainly use google earth for inspiration. if you want to know some good suburbs i recommend queens near new york! :) and its all about practice and patience. good luck bro!
