On 22nd March 2020 a female juvenile Bald Eagle was released back into the wild at Jo Overstreet Landing, Florida. The juvenile had fallen from the tree and being unable to fly was taken in an cared for by the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey until it had learned to fly.

On 22nd March 2020 at Jo Overstreet Landing, Florida a juvenile female Bald Eagle was released back into the wild. The juvenile had fallen from a tree earlier in March and being unable to fly was taken in and cared for by the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. Having learned the skill of flying the juvenile was released back into the wild.

Beautiful video thank you for sharing . Langthorns is the best nursery I have ever visited . Not close to me unfortunately. All the plants I purchased 5 years ago are doing exceptionally well . Would highly recommend

Great footage. Would be good to get hold of some of the helmet-cam (GoPro?) footage and mix together.
John I see you subscribed to my channel so if you have had the time to view any videos you know of my love for all animals.I have subscribed to your channel as well and when I saw this I was amazed and delighted to see how this Incredible Bird was cared for and released back into the Wild ! While I have always known how large they are and have viewed them many times but not as close, I can't believe how large they are , how beautiful they are along with how majestic as well. It is no wonder why this is the national bird for our Great Country ! Also thank God for the people that do this incredible work as it is just that a lot of work but the rewards are priceless as I know all of our domestic pets are rescues and we have rehabbed wild animals to release them. Thank you for sharing this !
Thank you for your comments. It was pure luck that we happened to be there especially during such a difficult time due to the pandemic. My wife and I had planned to be in Florida for four weeks visiting from the UK but we had to return a week early because just about everything was shutting down. Watching the release of the Bald Eagle made the holiday worth while.
