Did your gas gauge work after this? Mine only goes up to half way now and I read a forum that there’s a dip in the tank for the spring loaded stem on the regulator for the sensor to work. I’ve wiggled mine but I can’t get it to work.

Interesting. MIne's been inactive for a year and I've had to take the battery in and out many times. I wonder what exactly in that cable is bad that could be fixed rather than replaced. How'd you come to this conclusion?

Pepboys shop said that I have to replace the rotors along with brake pads. Why? The rotors are fine, only the pads are worn.

I have P0171 and P0174, and rattling noise when accelerating. When I tried to fix the noise and took out the valve, I found the flap is worn and excessively loose ( cheap plastic part used by BMW.). After seeing this video, I am pretty sure all my problems are caused by the valve. Good video and explanation. Thanks. Waiting for the part to come...
