It felt like Brooke and Connor was just the same show as TMG, but for a younger more feminine audience. Trillionaire held its own space, and attracted new people to ALL the shows. TMG was very slow to start creating “clips” and “highlights” for trill even as they were growing and getting their bonus episodes so I feel like they failed to capitalize. Ben and Emil WERE probably worth what they were asking for, but the studio as a whole didn’t utilize them properly in order to end up on that same page. Zach and wahlid were cool, but it was just the same thing as B&C and TMG, but for sports guys. A demographic that isn’t MASSIVELY attracted to the pop culture tiktok sphere. Just a weird situation but it’s not crazy that the bubble burst. Good video. I unsubscribed when they were being weird and secretive about the trill separation.

I may be a little biased but I got to see Noel's show live and it was the best comedy show I've ever seen, for the recorded performance I could really tell he was nervous and still holding back a little but it was still just as funny the second time through(9/10). You can really tell Trevor has a lot of experience in sketch comedy and is very good at crowd work and just feels like hes very comfortable on stage(7/10). meanwhile Kurtis just feels so awkward and the jokes just don't hit at all, you can really tell he shines in video format especially with editing but I do like his solo podcast and think he can be really fun just talking to himself but the special just needs a whole rework.

I used to love TMG when Cody and Noel were just engineers with day jobs and lived a life more comparable to your average joe. Then their wealth and fame skyrocketed and everything felt commercial and fake. I think a lot of viewers were also shocked that they weren't at each other's weddings?!! and that shattered the illusion of them being friends. I loved TMG and was so happy that Ben adn Emil left, their new format is so much more better and real, doesn't feel forced or commercial - now I'm a fan of PayPigsPod and don't really listen to TMG anymore. Brooke and connor was entertaining for a while, but they aren't really insightful or interesting, they just say dumb things that happen to be funny. I don't even watch Cody or Noel anymore, and I was a regular viewer since 2016. Now I'm bored of rich influencers whose life is so beyond what the avergae person experiences, I like Ben and Emil 'cause their show feels like a conversation you would overhear in a coffee shop between two random weirdos.

TMG always confused me. It seems like they’re blowing money on shows with random people who, sure, can be engaging and interesting when you get into watching more regularly, but have pretty small audiences right off the bat. It’s cool that they’re investing in smaller creators but it’s a weird business model.

im happy ur covering this stuff. i was a tmg subscriber for many YEARS. i was with cody and noel at the very beginning when they were shoveling out episodes in a shitty rented studio to patreon. I was an extremely avid listener. being a delivery driver meant i always had free hours to plug in and catch up on the many different podcasts they offered. I always listened to tmg and the bone zone, always caught trillionaire + after hours (they were my favorite), and rlly started to enjoy brooke & connor bc they always kept me up to date on social media trends and celebrity gossip. When trillionaire was cut, and all the drama of there being bad blood, it rlly stirred me away from the whole thing. I felt like there was a level of disrespect that noel and cody were showing their community by not being forward and honest about what was going on at their company. Especially with two hosts who were regularly a part of a 4-host, monthly collab episode that I, and many people, believe to be some of their funniest content to date. every episode for WEEKS was littered with comments like "WHERE'S TRILLIONARE GOING??? WHY IS BEN AND EMIL LEAVING?? ANOTHER EPISODE WHERE TRILLIONARE ISNT BROUGHT UP!!!" that entire situation made me seriously reconsider the genuineness of cody and noel. i still am an avid watcher of both of them and cody is probably my favorite youtuber, but once trillionaire was dropped, I started listening less and less and eventually just didnt see it as worth it to pay $10/month for something I wasn't even engaging with anymore. I was evening paying for a few months without evening listening because I wanted to support them. I hope they find an avenue to redirect this whole thing, but I think the lay-offs are just the start of the end of the whole "TMG Studios Saga"

So in short, Cody and Noel outsourced to a middle man that in turn fucked Ben and Emilie, with a contract that was made in representation of the studio. But because of contracts and legal reasons. Things didn’t turn out as planned and now pay pigs exist and trill is no more. If bad blood truly existed they would not have the videos up on the website anymore or the channel up. Because they don’t make any money off of that now. No sponsors no ad revenue. Simply a change with time.

Since Ben and Emil started doing live shows is when the issues started. I always guessed that once Ben and Emil started to do live shows TMG wanted a cut of the profits since Ben and Emil were using “trillionaire mindset” in the name of their live shows. I don’t know, just my conspiracy

I saw Noel’s show live in Orlando! I felt a little out of place because I’m closer to Noel’s age, but his standup is targeted towards his age group. I respect that! Kurtis is trying a little too hard to be PC the jokes are getting lost. I am optimistic he will improve!

As a WWE fan, I’m holding out hope we will get some sort of reunion from Ben, Emil, Cody and Noel. Never say never.

They wanted more money and tmg didn't want to pay more, people always want to look for the bad guy in every situation but at the end of the day that's just business.

i've always enjoyed kurtis's videos a lot, always found them funny and entertaining, and it came to me as such a surprise when he uploaded 10 minutes of his special here and it didn't even make me smile. such a shame, really on the other hand, noel surpassed my expectations. i always felt like his comedic strengths are in unscripted stuff, like his witty comebacks and ability to riff off of other people, so i was a bit skeptical about his stand up. was lucky enough to see him live, but as you said, everything is funnier in person, so although i enjoyed the show a lot i still remained somewhat unsure about how i felt. but watching his special finally resolved my doubts. he truly has a lot of potential and i'm excited to see him grow more
