Placencia, Belize dog friendly Placencia Beach
Просмотров 2782 года назад
In my opinion, this is the nicest beach on the mainland of Belize. Its rival beaches would be on the out islands. Dogs are allowed at this beach. My little dog was so cute playing on the beach, I couldn't help but film some of it which is at the end of this video. Along the beach are restaurants with bars and lounge chairs/umbrellas and the occasional vendor selling their wares. Placencia is lo...
Tulum, Mexico ancient Mayan ruins (the only ruins on the Yucatan peninsula that are on the coast)
Просмотров 693 года назад
This video was filmed mid April 2021. The tour guide was required to wear the mask throughout the tour, but not his guest(s). There were a mix of tourists, some were wearing masks at the archeological site and some were not. I taxied to the ruins from my hostel in Tulum which took about 10 min. There are all kinds of licensed/certified local tour guides standing around inside the first entrance...
Playa del Carmen, Mexico beach (Playa 88) lots of Sargassum weed paradisiacal beach?
Просмотров 3533 года назад
This was filmed mid April 2021. I saw a sign that called this beach "Playa 88". I personally did not find this beach to be paradisiacal. It just wasn't how I imagined it. Sargassum weed is a very natural occurring part of this environment and most environments like it. It's just not where I personally would like to hang out and swim. For those with skin sensitivities: Although the seaweed itsel...

Playa Paraiso (Paradise Beach) in Tulum, Mexico ridden with sargassum weed
Просмотров 6223 года назад
Filmed April 10, 2021 Paradise Beach isn't always covered in Sargassum weed and it is a very natural occurrence. I personally was not impressed with this beach but not because of the Sargassum weed. It is a party spot and not the most peaceful. Sargassum weed bumped into you as you swam and there were a lot of waves. Sargassum isn't toxic to touch, but touching some of the organisms living in i...

Selecto Super Chedraul Supermarket is in the middle of the hotel zone on the Cancun strip. It is three stories (I think the first floor is parking). The second floor is dedicated to mostly groceries, beer, pharmacy, water toys and some clothing, etc. The third floor has a huge wine and other alcohol selection. It also has a food court that includes Sushi, some cultural dishes, some American dis...
camping at Paradise Beach (Playa Paraiso) in Tulum, Mexico Revolucion Pancho Villa
Просмотров 3,9 тыс.3 года назад
Revolucion Pancho Villa camping is an affordable alternative to the pricy hotels near the beach. It costs approximately $25 per night and that includes a 2-4 man tent, and sleeping pad. It does not include any bedding. This video was filmed in April 2021. It highlights the camping areas and shows some of the bathroom buildings. It is accessed near the start of the path that goes to Paradise Bea...
taxi down the only road that goes to and from Paradise Beach Tulum, Mexico
Просмотров 433 года назад
In this video, I just wanted to show you the very narrow and only road in and out of Paradise Beach in Tulum, Mexico. However, you can also access the beach from the Tulum ancient Mayan ruins but not by car. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the ruins. It was about a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the hostel in Tulum. It cost $10 US not including tip. Be careful on this narrow road if you decide...

Best Chichen Itza Maya ruins tour in Cancun Mexico, Yucatan Airbnb experience with Eduardo Duarte

Filmed on April 17, 2021 at this time masks are necessary on all public tours but when it's just you and your group in the car with Eduardo, he gives you the option to wear the mask or not. He, of course, as a tour guide is required to wear it (at this time) and he is diligent about any safety concerns. The entrance fee to Cenote Zaci is 30 pesos (approximately $1.60) at the time of writing, which is considerably lower than the entrance fee to most other cenotes. Where is it located? Playa Delphinus, Cancun Mexico (walk south along beach to a cove or bay with gentler waters to swim)
Просмотров 883 года назад
Filmed April 18, 2021 One is not allowed to walk through the private hotels to get to the beach, unless of course, you are staying there. There may also be other exceptions. But the general rules is, in order to enjoy the miles of beaches in Cancun, you must access them through a public beach access along the strip and there are several. One such beach access is called Playa Delphinus or Dolphi...
Cancun strip ride on Mexico public transportation very cheap (12 pesos equivalent to 60 cents US)
Просмотров 3,4 тыс.3 года назад
Filmed April 18, 2021 This video shows a part of the strip from around the Riu Palace Hotel to Playa Delphinus (Dolphin Beach) which is several miles. I rode a taxi once on the strip from one end almost to the other. When I initially asked him how much before I got in, the driver said 250 pesos which is $12.50 US. I asked him if he would except 200 pesos and he said yes. But with a tip, I ended...

Thank you so much for making this video and for sharing it. Very beautiful drive. It didn't appear that Placencia Road is very popular with pedestrians. I kind of hoped I might be able to hike the length of the peninsula when I come down to visit in the future. Or, at least from Cocoplum to the southernmost point.
Would have like to see some rooms, please next time and say the names of the rooms and what year it is.
Cuánto vale la. Noche
They made a new road in between...its very nice!
Thank goodness!

Pancho Villa or camping revolution. It cost like $16 dlls per night
Awesome video. If you don’t mind me Asking how much is this tour? Thank you in advance
Sorry that was a very bad video of beautiful Placencia. Please take it off .What are you doing?
Thanks alot for posting this, it gives a really good indication of the area and was exactly what I wanted to see, Google street view is not active in belize so it's hard to get an idea of what these areas are like in reality , the travel brochures only show the best pics etc and this gave me a more realistic view, thanks alot....
I subscribed and put notifications on, because you took me on a nice drive through town. Thank you for sharing.
Ситуация в России сейчас гораздо сложнее, чем кажется на первый взгляд, и мы не должны поддаваться влиянию российской пропаганды.
You swimmed there.
Thank you for the very informative video. And your fur child is adorable.
Thinking about relocating to Belize and Punta Gorda is definitely on that list
Luna I love your vlogs.. definitely gonna travel to belize. Your camera work.. wide camera shots . And just right commentory. Makes it interesting. Thanks and good luck.
Hello Luna. I am glad you had a tour guide and explained what this town was all about on her begining. I hoped that my hometown was of your liking and had a good time. Sending you best regards
What season & year was this ? I'd rather be diving
Looks pretty slow these days ?
Where in Luna island in belize
Beautiful island Luna from what part of Belize can you get there ?
How much was it and which test did u take ?
If they email it to you is it necessary to come back? I though the email has the qr code or everything you need to board your flight?
Hi I live in sarteneja

wow this is our neighbor.
Really? So you live near the ruins/temples that are right by there?
Thank you for sharing
what a good video to see. I would love to go see this one day. Pretty awesome that you had a guide that had such a connection to the place and archeologist teachings.
I am so glad you appreciated this video! Makes the time I spend on this channel worth it! And yes my guide turned into a friend that I stay in contact with. It was so neat that her uncle was a "main player" archeologist at this site.

I assume that Glovers Reef Eco Resort is a different place on the island ?
It's all the same. I think "Glovers Reef Eco Resort" to which you are referring is the same thing as this entire island and what my videos are referring to. The island is tiny. And "resort" may be overstating as it is very rustic, hence the qualifying word "eco". There is no running water, sewer, internet, electricity, etc. (Except at the main business hub area where the food is served, etc. -- they have electricity and limited wifi you can use at certain times).
@@Solar-Busters Happy to help. I think the diving must be pretty good. I think I was the only one that went there and didn't dive lol
@@adventureswithluna6581 Whats the point in going that far out from the mainland & not diving ? It's my understanding that you were on the other side of the island from the Eco Resort that I'm referring to owned by Kendra & her husband. Im almost positive that their are other tiny hutch resorts & islands within Glovers Reef Atoll, their resort doesn't have the hutches out over the water as described to me & by their pics on IG
@@Solar-Busters You are correct. The one you are speaking of is different. I did not realize there were others on Glover's Reef. I only saw the one and did not realize the expansion of Glover's Reef. I apologize for not having my facts straight! As far as your other point, you don't have to be a diver to appreciate the beauty of these remote islands. It is fun to explore!
Nice tour, I'll be traveling from SFO to Playa del Carmen next week and will be visiting Valladolid. Thanks for uploading.
My pleasure!
Thanks
Hey my friend!!!
Hey my friend!!!!
What happens if you are vaccinated?
Just show your proof to the airline you are using.
Regardless! You still have to have covid test, it's absurd! They made me get one even with my vaccine card shots 2 hrs ago

Every day. I think 24/7. Click on the airport info link in the description. It should have that info.

I NEVER BEEN BACK HOME HOPEFULLY SOON I WAS BORN IN BELIZE CAME TO THE STATES WHEN I WAS 5 IN 1971...
I do hope work on paving this road starts back up soon. It needs to be raised up as much as possible to compensate for the periodic flooding.
I see my house
This is actually not bad at all, water is brown in Playa del Carmen and it smells like dead fish all the way to the main road
Thank you for your comment. Good to note. My next video is of the one in Playa del Carmen.
Yes, we were just there a few weeks ago and were not prepared for how bad it was. Needless to say, it really put a damper on our trip. You could not swim in the ocean or even sit on the beach due to the stench. Even walking on the street a few blocks up was terrible. And yes, it smelled like dead fish.
@@novasky6206 Thanks for your comment. It helps others who want to travel there.
Thank you for this real time review. I'm preparing a trip here and it is helpful to see this.
