@LukeDennis-t3c I've been trying to get used to playing on 4-3 linear lately. I've recently bumped it up from 3-3 linear, which felt really good for me, but everybody was preaching the 4-3 life so I'm giving it a fair shot.

I don't currently live stream, but I could try to record and upload some hell divers content if you would like. I play the game pretty casually, so any gameplay uploaded would reflect that. I feel ya, it's very depressing. Ranked used to be something that really motivated and excited me. After years of them messing with the system, usually in detrimental ways, the terrible matchmaking, and the rampant cheating that has taken place across both PC and console, I have found myself having no reason to play it. Not to mention that if you are not playing with a three stack, then you're not even really playing the game. Funny thing is, the last couple seasons with MMR matchmaking were the best lobbies I had. My teammates were pred, and played like it. My enemies were preds, and played like it. The lobbies were competitive and playing to win, a la ALGS. The only problem was I was in gold while this was all happening. I would love to play in that system again, if they just gave me the visible rank that matched my MMR, and didn't make me grind all season just to leave a lower rank. Oh well.

I mean, I was plat 1 placed against current predator players. Like yeah, I belong in those lobbies since my skill level is so high (or, in your words, I'm a "sweat") but not when I'm in platinum. The matchmaking is clearly broken. Case in point: check out any of my recent videos of me playing in diamond 4 lobbies. Since I hit diamond 4, I've been matched with gold and silver players, both enemy and friendly. It's ridiculous. Notably, I have NOT been matched against current preds and masters. Even in diamond 3! Make it make sense.

@@grit93 To share with other people the state of ranked and matchmaking? So other people can see the experience if they don't choose to experience it themselves. To perhaps get other people to share their experiences with the matchmaking and ranked system this season. I don't understand your question. How did anything I say in my previous comment lead you to raise the question of, "why post it"? That's a very weird thought process. Why comment? Thanks for all the engagement though, it helps boost the vids. In fact, to get some value out of this conversation, let's try this: Have you been playing ranked? How has your matchmaking experience been? Teammates? Enemies? Though, I imagine you're probably too good to bother with ranked.

Yeah, my movement is definitely the worst facet of my game. I don't play claw or have paddles, so I feel very limited with my capability. I can do wall jumps, but that's literally it. I don't even know what would help me to learn or when to apply it. I feel my 1v1s are pretty good in the strafe fights, but some people just blow me out of the water.

Ah yes, I've been meaning to get an El Gato for a while now. I could upload in higher quality and probably do some better editing as well. I only use the built-in PS5 features to trim and upload currently, and I'm glad it exists, but it's pretty barebones. Thanks for the view and the comment.

This curfew was OVERWHELMINGLY supported by the majority of people who actually live in Minneapolis btw; you weren't living here at the time, so you have no clue what you're talking about.

Unfortunately, I had already gotten a 4k on pathfinder in battle Royale, so I had the badge previously. I would be pissed if I farmed 4k and it didn't count haha

Yes, I needed to better communicate the positions of my enemies, the damage I was putting out, what I was doing, and most importantly what I needed my teammates to do. At the end of the day, my teammates may not have done what I needed from them, they often don't, but at least I would have said it. There's only so much I can do as one person in my lobbies.
