Are you playing vanilla ds2 or scholar of the first sin? I despised ds2 for the longest time because I was playing scholar the whole time and didn't know there was a difference between the two of them. While vanilla still has issues, I found it 100% more enjoyable than scholar.

@@megamanx7157 amount of enemies/enemy placement. Scholar borderline doubles the amount of enemies in most places. Shrine of amana is especially noticable for the difference.

There's some slight other changes they made too, by finding a definitive list of differences is tough because they called both the final patch of vanilla ds2 and the definitive edition "scholar of the first sin", its like they really wanted to troll the fan base or something lmao

Personally, I enjoy being able to see what's on my screen.

As annoying as they were, the runbacks were an aspect of the game that I miss. My very first playthrough, I cleared out all the enemies along the path to the executioners charriot.

I can't remember the exact song name, but all the music I use is from "your best friend jippy". His beats are 👌

​@@actuallygunno1967 I'm a fromsoft stan, so I'd recommend playing all dark souls games; with ds2, especially scholar of the first sin, there's just quite a bit the normal person would nope tf out of, understandably imho. Still better than most games though

I think my brain and my controller would have broken trying to do nameless king and the others so I decided to not do all bosses lol

@@CoachPlague Tears of Denial allows you to survive getting one shot, but only once. I could see it being considered cheesy for this specific challenge run, but hey, being able to survive one hit probably could help in some situations

This run was the most I've ever used magic so I had no idea that was even in the game. Wish I woulda known, would have saved me a whole lot of trouble lmaooo

Judging from just the little they let us play in the server slam, it seems like the game is gonna be pretty big, and I'm so hype for it.

@@CoachPlague same, glad to hear from someone like-minded. The other games seem to have given decades worth of content, will be fun to see how much we get out of this. I hope they keep expanding as well as adding new classes. Rogue was my favourite with a dagger
