I'm jamming the media with content that builds brands and energizes people who don't reject commercial content. For the heck of it.

Mendocino - Los Lobos with Dave Alvin - Live
Просмотров 4327 лет назад
A great song by Doug Sahm of the Sir Douglas Quintet and Texas Tornados. Los Lobos played this make-up gig after postponing due to David Hidalgo's illness. Since Hidalgo couldn't make it, they brought Dave Alvin on stage as a surprise to play a mini-set in their set. Captured live at the Tivoli Theater in Downers Grove, IL, March 2017

ThankQ, love the pink Telecaster
Kenny Hutson makin’ that Tele sing!
Where has this been? I love his slide playing and everything else he does?❤
OMG, Trump was in this.
Joe rules !!!
I would love to hear Joe B on a National 12 string!!!
Joe and band packed up and came down to Baltimore the next day to play a show at a small club called the 8x10 (with another bass player substituting for Jennifer Condos 🙁). I’ve seen Joe at least a dozen times since but there’s something special about that band and those songs.
This is my most beloved song by Dan Auerbach. It goes straight into my heart.
It seems quite fitting with my old friend who passed away a few years ago, he overdosed on heroin, I was changing myself and when I found out I felt deathly ill, he was my best friend but his troubles always got in my way so I had to move on before he passed evidently! We were like brothers but you can't change the spots on a leopard sometimes
Nice spoof on staining white jeans! Recently saw a dude rocking his self-described brand new, $300, imposssssibly WHITE, white skinny jeans get "attacked" by stains at an outdoor classic car show.
LOL! I totally dig it!
beautiful
It's a great DVD, just like the other two official releases. Hopefully more live concerts will get a release, especially with this bands line up.
Breathtaking
I lost my best friend a year ago, he died from an overdose. What can I say but the drugs got a hold of him and basically this song always reminds me of Lee, yes he was an idiot at times but I miss him more than the wind of our Earth. I'll see him again one day im sure. I just miss him, everyone whom sees this I can guarantee he'd make you laugh a ton
This is freaking hilarious at the beginning because I didn’t know what it was talking about but it’s good though
Love finding these hidden gems. He play with touch not far off a mother’s lovin touch for her child. But can does have that flesh mute palm to squash out those others from ringin just a bit.
💙💙💙 Amazing 💙💙💙
Wtf eva
Cedric Watson on fiddle 🎻
Feeling Bad Blues - Ry Cooder
Plays a fine slide guitar. I believe he took the slide much further than George Harrison. The repetiore is deeper. Radio is stuck in a corporate funk and misses out on great performances.
I like it...
It takes a God given talent to create these sounds, or a natural muse. He reminds me of Robert Johnson. If you could just bring him, Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, Bonamassa, and Eric Clapton to back them up, that would be special.
Seeing as JB is the only one alive apart from Clapton who has a hand problem, that might be difficult, but I catch your drift.
it`s right trevor annan, but`s great
Hi
This song wouldn’t be popular if it wasn’t for The Simpsons
Fuck this shit. Go watch Johnny Winter or Derek Trucks.
Do you have anymore songs from this episode? Thanks for posting this!

This is the closest to a live recording that I've ever seen!! With the Enjoyable Greatest Bar Band in the world!!!! NRBQ live record release party of Wild Weekend CD at city lights in the capital of Hartford, Connecticut. Now "That Was A Wild Weekend" to be there with WHCN...
NRBQ is great. I think calling them a bar band is really lame though.
1000 kg at least.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
There are a couple of guys here in Sweden who performs music of this genre but they don't really get there. It is hard to be convincing if you are not brought up in the US. Sometimes I wish I was.
All those emotions are there no matter where u live. Just gotta find em brother.
The band called Kaleo performs blues rock/indie folk with a strong American influence. They are from Iceland, and still they sound very convincing to me.
I still feel like The Black Keys story can only be an American story (not meaning to glamorous the place or anything)
Nice.
And then "The river"
Please note (and change it in the title), as TrustPioneer says, this is Ry Cooder's "Feelin' bad blues". Not a solo.
Juan Ortiz Greco - I thought this sounded familiar. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!
Feelin bad blues/ when the levee breaks
Oohh....i was waiting that someone write it 😤
Feeling Bad Blues / The River (Joe's own song from 2004)
Beautiful ! Sometimes, simplicity is a seing of greatness.
Genius. Simply genius. This guy is a master of all blues styles
Yes, he us keeping the blues alive, that is for sure👌
This video is for the person who buttons the bottom button of their suit. In other words it's for rookies.
newmedstudent I posted this video about ten years ago to experiment with the arc of discovery for video posts. It was intended for a beginner, yes. Ironically the future President of the US makes an appearance. The original video was produced by Esquire magazine.
this is his take on ry cooders feeling bad blues
Not so
E si invece , cosa no !!!! 🤬
Thought this guy is amazing at playing convential style guitar. No way can he be equally good at slide. I was totally freakin wrong. Amazing slide player too! Holy crap!!! Reminded me a little of "When the Levee Breaks" at times. Badass song and playing!!!
Heard him do this at the Rockplast
what tuning is this?? its not standard e for sure...
pretty sure it's "open E" E-A-E-G#-B-E
Or "F"
In an interview once he said he liked playing in open E
Sounds like Open F. Not sure the configuration -- a few posts north of this one some guys take it apart better....
An American national treasure!
Dan Auerbach is by far one of the best singer/songwriters of today.. This song is amazing, it's so heartfelt :)
P.S. May I just add...Check out 'The Ramble To Cashel' and 'The Blarney Pilgrim'...two albums full of Tom Long, Steve Baughman, Pat Kirtley, amongst many otherfine finger-style guitarists...Check the songs out on YubTub
A great Chris Mastersons too....he is the guy....
