Hello! I design things out of Lego, usually machines and mechanisms of some sort, and post other miscellaneous videos but for stuff that isn't worthy of its own video I'll be posting mostly on TBLE (Technic Builds and Lego Engines), a Discord server I encourage every Lego builder reading this to join (discord.gg/N4QWkxqm5z).
I do not usually do tutorials for my creations because I think to a degree step-by-step tutorials limit the ways in which they could be built, and figuring it out for oneself can be a learning experience (they're also more work than I feel like putting in these days). I might include pictures of parts or describe how it works either in the description or on TBLE.

Lego Inline 4-cylinder Pneumatic Engine
I’ve had this one for a couple months but made an air tank out of a seltzer bottle and found a basketball pump to fill it with to keep it running for longer. No modified parts.

Lego Fully Pneumatic/Mechanical Steamshovel

Thank you all for 1,000 subscribers! No electric parts whatsoever besides the pump to pressurize the air it runs on. It would be nice to run it off an air tank but I don't have one. Had to drop a couple bricks in the bucket because it didn't pick any up when I tried to grab them out of the bin. I'd also like to promote a Discord server I really enjoy and I think my Lego-building audience will t...
Lego Inline 3-Cylinder “OHC” Vacuum Engine Camshaft Failure
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.5 месяцев назад
I made this a few weeks ago and was going to record it then but it seized up when I pressed everything together when I built it. It’s still a little sticky because you can see how quickly the crank stops spinning after the camshaft breaks off. I felt like three cylinders might be a nice compromise between a non-self-starting I2 and a torqueless I4. “OHC” in quotes because someone called it an o...
Torsion bar buggy test

I recorded this a couple years ago and only now thought to upload it to RUclips. Forgive me for the bad filming angle but I had to hold both of my phones in my hands to record it and control it. One of the front differential gears popped off which is why it stopped; it was way too heavy. I'd like to build more vehicles with torsion bar suspension.

Lego 4-Cylinder Rotary Valve Vacuum Engine Shop-Vac Test
Просмотров 3,4 тыс.2 года назад
I wasn’t prepared to take any measurements of how this engine performed with a larger vacuum cleaner, nor did I change the valve timing or touch the flywheel or crankshaft to see how much torque it could produce (I had both hands full), but I just wanted to see if it worked. Maybe I’ll build a version with normal valves like the rest of my LVEs. I'd also like to promote a Discord server I reall...
Lego 4-Cylinder Rotary Valve Vacuum Engine Prototype
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.2 года назад
Inspired by KFPlus Lego Mastery’s 4x4 piston rotary valve engine, which he said was inspired by my early rotary valve engine prototype from August 2021. I haven’t played with the valve timing much on this to see if performance could be improved, which it maybe could. It also will probably run better on a shop vac which I’ll take a video of this weekend. I'd also like to promote a Discord server...
Lego 1 Cylinder Vacuum Engine and Transmission (WORK IN PROGRESS)
Просмотров 11 тыс.2 года назад
I've been designing throwout bearings into clutches to reduce the friction of disengaging them and I made this. I'll definitely be building liftgate throttles into my LVEs from now on. Fourth gear is too high to really work (I might make that into reverse) and obviously the clutch pedal needs some reinforcement but I just wanted to get this video out. This isn't the project I was talking about ...
Lego Rollgolf 2 (prototype)
Просмотров 3842 года назад
I’ve been meaning to rebuild and improve my first Rollgolf model since March of last year because that one didn’t have a front differential so it couldn't steer very well. This one doesn’t have a front differential either but is powered by a BuWizz, so it’s much more powerful than the last one and is a step in the right direction. I’m in the process of building a better one with a differential ...

Bro the the tick of death
Bro I have a v2 but mine is much faster, if you want faster then you need to reduce friction because you have poor efficiency and remove the walls, they prevent more vacuum from passing through. If the friction is high then take oil and lubricate everything with a thin layer, it should help!
Part of the reason this one is slower than yours with half as many cylinders is because the displacement is higher. The same amount of air from the vacuum cleaner is passing through a larger number of cylinders than in my one- and two-cylinder engines, which run much faster. See my videos on those and my 2x2 I4 which runs much faster too.
@mel_energy 👍
How build?
I posted a walkthrough video a few months after this one about how it works
Change the ratio between the cylinders from 180° to 90° that should make it a bit faster i think so
Exactly. See my other video on this engine where it has a cross-plane crankshaft
Guss you could say preformence is at the rop
Tutorial pls!!!!!! I want that sound!!!
I posted a walkthrough of the normal version of this engine in December 2019, they’re pretty similar
Must say the connection rod is quit weak for the type of engine i advise to use a side ways one with a pin treu it
You’re right, it is weak at these speeds. I soon realized I could use a 1x6 half stud wide beam as a connecting rod and that’s what I’ve been doing since.
Yatak sardı mk
NGL when you start it it sounds like a truck
sounds atv
Make a 2 cylinder and MAYBE put it on a car. I'm begging you
I made a 2-cylinder already and posted a video of it, and check out my video of a 1-cylinder running a 4-speed transmission
@mel_energy MAKE A CAR WITH IT PLEAAAASE
Tutorial?
Use a Lego technic studless beam for the rod
Yes, I started doing that after this video
Thats exactly what happened to mine except theres so much friction since its a 196cc that it wont even turn
Have you lubricated it?
Can I please get an tutorial
@@alexkainua1351 I already made one, it’s one of the early videos posted on my channel
Oil them up, see how much faster they go
This might have been oiled/lubricated but it’s a flat-plane crank on a two-stroke engine so it doesn’t work great. See the next video I posted where it has a cross-plane crank.
this engine is cool actually spins the wheel to create movement. you should in stall this in a lego car
That sound is motorcycle 90 years bickers or old car v6 v8
So cute!
This sounds so good omg
How much torque do you want. Yes
Bro needs to make a life size lego car and use this as the engine and transmission.
Over-rev the bit-
why my engines use beams instead of an axle
can you show me a diy
@@Roblox_studio_Dev I posted pictures of the parts in the description and made a walkthrough video
Sounds like a v8
Bro you blew the engine fr???
Yup
So under rated
Very nice❤
bro built the insides of a car
the tourqe must be insane
Tutorial?
The OG
very good porject
I'm about to build one of these engines but im going with a 2-stroke design i already built the piston and crank shaft I got back from the store a few hours ago with the rest of the pieces i need but im at my grandma's so i cant build anything right now I'm really hoping it's going to work it would suck for me to find out that i just built all of it for nothing
Good luck! Post a video if it works
"Not even fully enclosed😂 this ai-DAMN" that sound is HEAVENLY
Cool!
Outstanding, congratulations. Been working around big versions of that lately, they are very complicated machines with many moving parts and attachments, it's amazing what they can do in a few days. Gonna tell the boys on Monday.
Thank you! My original idea was to make one with a few more air lines leading to it and some more cylinders inside so I could control it all from one switch box and didn't have to walk back and forth to flip switches on it (I cut those bits out). Maybe I'll get some more hose and make a video some day. P.S. can we trade jobs?
@@mel_energy My job is to clear the trees, fences etc so they can get into bush to do a job, and tidy it up later. This week we had to take down 8 x 15 mtr pines, drag them 30 mtr down the hill with the tractor and straps, get them to the base of a swamp, so the beast can go in and clear out a big wetland. It's crazy, cause a machine like that needs another huge truck to move all the stuff dug out for future use, and other smaller machines around it, it's amazing to watch. They are all young dudes. Much success for you, congrats on 1 k subs.
Can you make a tutorial?😢
Thats pretty dang impressive
Hello since i don't have a small vacuum cleaner. can i use something like ballon to blow air in and make it work?
@@robloxian7761 I’m sure it would be possible but Lego vacuum engines are normally not very air tight so it might be tricky to get it to run for long with a normal size balloon. But go ahead and run some experiments
Brilliant, just brilliant - any chance of a tutorial?
I don’t do tutorials for my designs, mostly because I believe that limits the way it can be made if I do a piece-by-piece walkthrough. A few years ago I showed how a small prototype of a one-cylinder version worked, though. But this isn’t a very efficient model.
Marvellous stuff
Bro is a genius
IT SOUNDS REAL HOLD ON
put lil glue it helps and btw make sure there is oil in the walls for safety to stop heating and piston melt downs
@@bouchrarouane9034 It’s already lubricated, you can see it through the sidewalls when it starts. And I’ve already learned to use a one-piece connecting rod instead of this one so it doesn’t come apart.
AAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIKKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAAAAAA
infinite tourqe
aye this looks sick
Thats smooth!
