Milwaukee m18 did not do it in second gear. Than go to the first gear. The Dewalt is do it in second gear. The dewalt has the three gears and that is the big advantage over Milwaukee drill !!!

The mod works perfectly, I did it on a B3 with another 001 resistor and I can even remove the crankshaft screw, I have not used the impact wrench again

What kind of tuning?
1/2" anvil instead of hex bit.
@@Cedo86 i tought he tuned the hammer mechanism and esc, anvil is not tuning
it’s something else, its not only anvil 1/2 gives this power, its something else about this tuning, i hope we will find the answers from owner 😊

How reliable are these 2.0 d4d engines?
very reliable mine's at 320k now. Turbo gave up, but engine is still strong with original injectors and glow plugs, I mean they are practically unkillable if you change oil somewhat often etc...
mine is at 500k km it had a period where the oil wasn't changed for 100k km its completely fine it leaks and burns oil but it doesnt really care it works like a clock pretty much the clutch is also from factory so 500k km the only issue is suspension parts aren't as reliable as the engine but those you have to change every 400k km

You have the problem only on cold starts, the problem disappear after a drive? Bigger problems with temperature differences?

@@84Hecht Normally its the SCV-Valve. The 2.0 D4D have to type of Valves. It can be that you have the version, where there are two small valves, or you have only one valve, its one big valve. The SCV Valve is from the high fuel pressure system, that controlle where and when the fuel pressure goes ro the rail and Injektors. Sometime you can remove the valve and clean it, this is the cheaper way. When you remove the engine cover, on the left you can see the high pressure pump that is driven by the timing belt, there is the valve. Search on RUclips: Toyota D4D 2.0 SCV-Valve remove or cleaning. When you remove it, clean it with Ultraschall and control it with a 12v Car batterie with cabel. Put a new a new seal on the valve. New valve is expensive. Part Nr from Denso (Denso is original in Toyota): DCRS300830 (2 valves) DCRS300660 (1 big valve) check witch one you have. Good luck my friend.

Nice mod. I did this with an 18 volt drill. can modern cars with no heated cig lighter style outlets take the amps drawn by a drill? I run mine off a 12V jumpstarter box.
