Dude...
dave talks bout him playing for devo for 26 years but ignore the first real band josh was in The vandals and has been for 35 years
Poo Fighters
I watched the sped up version of the first bit on Instagram first, so this version acts kind of slower lol
Always when I go to my uncles house in Peterborough I listen to his tunes and it is a vibe! Went to this concert by the way 😊
that without a doubt was the best Michael Bubble cover ever 🤣🤣
I was in 7th grade when whip it came out, classic?
This is one of my all time favorite songs
Foo playing NIN. Awesome.
The last one was hilarious
Hahahahahahahahahahaha Drummers they are all one of a kind What a treat
The Vandals
Not a fan of the double bass drum
He also played drums for Static-X while they were recording Shadow Zone!
Dave doesn't sound have bad singing jibberish lol.
They honestly should do a Garage Inc Double LP of covers.
God it’s SO about time that Foos adds double bass to their music. That kit is sick
necklace
Actually, Josh is a good deal better than Taylor. No, I didn’t dislike Taylor’s playing, it’s just that Josh has a lot more chops, more fluidity, and is extremely tasteful and aggressive all at the same time. That’s hard for anyone to top.
Stop, Josh is much better than Taylor?? Yes!!! Absolutely
No one likes these lame talk > play > talk parts of live shows. They are total buzz kills. Just do a proper homage to his previous work.
Haha fucking awesome !!!
Ugh. I love Josh. But he’s not going to bring the band further in the writing department. Foos have been really stale for years. Sorry.
Better than that junkie that overdosed.
Lol mumbling bubblé
Seizure warning 1:33
They even got the NIN lights!
The vandals. That's all I'm going to say.
rocking blazing march of the pig!!!..(stop) continued, "He did tht song!" 😂😂😂😂 1:58
what song is this from?
The Teacher
even with the rain it was an amazing show
Does he say Fuck a lot?
yes.
I love these guys
I mean…… A PERFECT Fin CIRCLE is only, probably like amongst his best drum work ever…
So much respect its fantastic to see within two of the greatest drummers with the amazing feel from the soul !! 🎶🎶🎶🎶 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
they finally got good cymbals
Paramore too
I knew from day one after Taylor’s death that if the Foo’s decided to continue, it would be with Josh. Him and Taylor were super tight and it only made sense.
I wouldn't give those clowns a nickel of my money to see them. Never forget their stupid vaccine mandate.
First time I saw Foo Fighters was at an outdoor festival in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada in the summer of 2000. That festival included A Perfect Circle who were promoting their first album "Mer De Noms". Josh was in A Perfect Circle at the time. "There is Nothing Left to Lose" by Foo Fighters & "Mer De Noms" by A Perfect Circle are 2 of my favourite albums
Ditto to those two albums being favorites -- I can't believe more people aren't talking about Josh in A Perfect Circle! Mer de Noms was life-changing for me, in terms of my musical journey. Just find a live version here on youtube of the song 'Orestes' -- the song builds up and the climactic drums at the end... god it's so f*cking good. I could just listen to it over and over. I couldn't be happier that the Foo brought him on!
@@lindseyflannery7139 It was overwhelmingly great. That album was a game changer. Like many bands I listen to, A Perfect Circle doesn't remind me of any pother band, despite Maynard being the vocalist for 2 other bands
With that beard he looks like a member of Alabama
Let’s not skip right over A Perfect Circle
I was about to comment the exact same thing
Yeah. They forfot the best of all
Yeah, I felt that was a bit more important than fucking Bubble
too hard to cover for poo biters
Average foo fan at this gig is likely to know more about Michael Bublé than APC
Damn the NIN needs a seizure warning
Glad you gave this Josh guy a chance 😆
Freese's drumming made the first A Perfect Circle album for me - they're great songs anyway, but his parts were just so perfectly matched to the vibe of the album.
YES. Especially on Orestes and Judith.
I’ve been playing the drums for about 30 years, since I was 12, and those first two APC albums are a real pleasure to play through…Freese’s parts have such nuance and dynamic range that they’re just a joy…
@@lindseyflannery7139 Why can't people like you live in Memphis. Ugh. You get it!
@@nigel7880 I was in Memphis once! 2003, I remember live outdoor music while drinking a Big Ass Beer... Good times
Raffi just smoking in the back lol
The video for this song is hilarious!
Chorollo lucifer of drumming....
Is a Beautiful Song
Love this part of the show - they all light up darts while introducing the band 😂
Enter MetallicFighters 🤘🤘🎸🎸
My gawd you have Josh Freese to drum! That is an incredible get. And why not? Who wouldn't take that gig.
