Thanks for the comment. I’ll keep it mind and see if I have time to come up with something. I created that song in GarageBand and don’t use it as much because I have FL Studio learning how to do dance tracks like Melodic Techno. Problem is my inner wishful musician likes to create fast melodies lol

FL Studio

Thanks. Still learning! That was the result from a tutorial done in FL Studio so had to substitute instruments and vocals.

Thanks. Will be making changes to try and beef up the kick and modify the transitions. Basically, make it more in keeping with a dance track similar to Anyma.

Thanks for the comment. I understand it’s not Anyma. I would like to say though this track is the next progression from the Afterlife tutorial I did. There is a bass line I’ve put in with a different rhythm similar to Afterlife. I also used the call and answer effect between several instruments and used the hats in a similar way. I don’t have FL Studio to get those awesome drops and still figuring out how to get those drainpipe sounds haha.

Hey mate! Again thanks for the inspiration from your vid. I wouldn’t usually ask but could you please look at my latest vid and see what I might be doing wrong? Perhaps it’s a cliché sound. Obviously, this is the first composition since your tutorial and I think it really hums lol. May be I don’t have enough transition elements or FX or the main melody is a bit basic. People aren’t liking it and I don’t know if it’s the titles or the music. Your critique would be very helpful. May be I’m confused by the genre mixes aye but I gotta get as many keywords in as I can 😁

I don’t sample but I use the library of Apple Loops that come with GarageBand as there are 100’s to choose from. I started from scratch creating the bass riff in this track and added layers from there. Some of my videos have over 20 layers and I’ve needed to merge layers to single audio track to add more. At the moment the tracks have evolved themselves from the basic idea of Bass Trance genre but I know I need to structure them as more of a song. Cheers again.
