21336 I.F. Robotics is a rookie team founded by highly motivated members from Brainbots (4th place at Washington State Championships last season) for the purpose of being more student led. In addition to exercising independence and autonomy in designing and programming three generations of off-season bots this summer, we've had to approach this new team as a startup, beginning with the business basics of coming up with a brand identity and acquiring funding. Engaging directly with the business side of running a team, we students have solicited sponsors (like this one), applied for grants, created a website, and established a social media brand and RUclips channel.
As teens, we want the freedom to experiment -- to come up with and execute our own ideas, "raising the ceiling" in ways we previously couldn't. Combining robot, business, and outreach elements, we strive to be the best overall and competitive team that we can be while still having fun and doing what we love.

Watch our qual 17 match from WA Shockley League where we scored 187 points. Thanks to our alliance partner FTC 24336 Naselle Comets for working so well with us! i might have forgotten, but i think its reaction tackle string
We use blue polyethelyne fishing string from amazon, same as 14343. 100lb string for extension and 300lb string for the retraction string due to the high loads during climbing. No, this is actually our 1+5 auto. So everything you are seeing is completely autonomous.
Although, we do also have teleop where we are able to either cycle or spread out our cones depending on the situation.

This is FTC First Tech Challenge. It is for middle schoolers and high schoolers. We are a team based out of Vancouver, WA, but there are teams all over the world.
That triangular chassis was actually sick, itd be cool if someone were to actually use it in comp
Actually, that's @ftc14343 's chassis. They ended up using a very similar one but instead of triangular, it was pentangular. Feel free to check them out!

My team, 14779, used a kiwi last year. We didn’t make it to worlds but we did end up 3rd place alliance captain at CRI last year!
