The beginning of this game doesn’t make any sense. Why would I waste time killing any of the enemies if I can’t level up. It’s useless. It forces you to run past them to get to the boss. Thank you for this guide.

There's like... no quest/journal to tell you on side quests, you gotta figure it out for yourself x.x I just got dark souls 3 as well. But Elden Ring has been a big challenge for me and I'm starting to appreciate these types of games. I recently though, I have finished Hollow Knight I'm sure I'll be okay with Elden Ring!
