Hate to spoil it but this is not a vanilla video as they did not have markers back in the day, and I’ve never seen any vanilla video that is this good of quality. This is more like a classic video. Plus some of addons that where being used didn’t come out til tbc. I was a beta player and cleared though naxx so why not just say it’s a classic video.
You are 100% right, this was from a private server that was "Blizz-like", Kronos 3. I used the term vanilla wow back when I made these videos because I didn't know what else to call them. Oh and I never expected the algorithm to choose one of my videos and feed it to the masses. I have quite a few others from the same server marked in the same way, was never my intention to hoodwink anyone. Apologies!

Very good detective work! This was from a private server (of vanilla Wow) just before the Blizzard supported Classic WoW was released. So technically no it is not true Vanilla WoW from back in the day. Idk why but the RUclips algorithm sent this video into space, I have quite a few videos marked "Vanilla WoW" from the same era, I just didn't know how to title them to get interest so that is what I went with!

Molten Core progress back in vanilla was so fun. My guild was stuck on Baron Geddon for a month, then the same night we killed him, we made it all the way to Ragnaros in 1 sweep, was so much fun.
That's awesome. I have such good memories of MC (and MC progression) from Vanilla WoW and Classic WoW. There was something fun about a rag tag group of people in blues/greens taking down bosses to get your first epics :D

PS of course. Real vanilla videos were done at 800x600 or 1024x768 and are blurry as fuck, and they run at 15 to 20 fps. This was shot in a private server in 2019... So is fucking clickbait.

@@StannyObelisk when people say "vanilla videos" they mean videos taken from the game actualy between 2004 and 2006- You know, the REAL VANILLA. Then there are private server videos, that can have been made any time after that, and then classic videos, taken during wow classic. This video was NOT recorded during vanilla. As is obvious for the reazon i already explained. Hence, clickbait :) EDIT: I just did google the guilds name: They are from one of the Kronos servers. PRIVATE SERVERS. This video was made in 2019... I mean, if you need someone to explain to you that a video made in 2019 is NOT Vanilla WoW, well....

@@rippercase1397 I wish world pvp was encouraged, what if thrall dropped his hammer that had a chance to proc chain lightning on hit? Or what if vol'jin dropped a castable totem you can place to hex up to 6members nearby for 5seconds or something
