Exploring Wattle Park - Melbourne Victoria
A must stop town. Great bakery and clean toilets. Thanks for highlighting this little gem.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video, and I agree Bridgewater is a lovely place to visit!
but why
I really like living in Cobram, I used to live there for 2 years.. maybe I will come back in 2025 for vacation..
Cobram is a lovely place! It’s great to hear you enjoyed your time there. A vacation in 2025 sounds like a perfect plan!
Dude I live in tumblong like 15 minutes away from where you are at the start of the video
ruclips.net/video/eQW8P30uyNo/видео.html That would be this place then. I really enjoyed exploring the area as I have driven past Tumblong many times via the Hume Freeway, and wasnt aware that there was a village past the old pub.
well Gundagai and tumblong are pretty much the same thing but except on my RUclips channel I just ride dirt bikes on the lands of Gundagai and tumblong but its very nice to live in Gundagai
@ and yes I know that pub my pop has been there it’s like just down the road

Another familiar spot for me. Thanks
It really is a beautiful spot!
I got some bad news, that's not a International Transtar. It's a Volvo/GMC
It was designed, engineered and built in Australia at our Dandenong plant back in the 1980s.
My girlfriend and l were driving in a VW van from Sydney to Melbourne in 1990. We stopped in Jugiong. My surname is Sheehan and I was told that there were lots of Sheehans living there. We called to the hotel for a few drinks that evening. We met a local man and I told him my surname was Sheehan. He said it was unfortunate that there were no Sheehans in the bar that night as usually there would be at least a few, and somtimes many more. We drove on to Melbourne the following day but I was disappointed as l would have loved to have met one.
That’s a great story. What a pity that you never got to talk to them. I bet they have quite a heritage there. They may have been the first settlers of the district. I only took photos of the area as it’s a little village.
Been through there many times. Thanks
Thanks for that. BTW your thumbnail says Thoona Vic.
My bad
Where is off trail nutrition Centre?
Nice one
Thanks 🔥
Damned if I could do all that walking with bare feet. Thanks for the video. Well done.
lol, barefoot means the movie is natural and goes into more detail than the average walking tour movie. Very limited amount of editing, just point the iPhone in the right direction and walk.
Where’s the cube?
Do you have Woolworths there the cash register lights are coded for horse racing💵💵💵💵😉
I think they only have an iga supermarket.
Oh the memories of going to school there. I went to school in Osbornes flat, Yack was a big city back then.
I live twenty minutes from there, and the last time I visited was when I did that walking tour. Very picturesque town .
Cover page , traveller, not traveler!
beautiful place isn't it :D thanks for visiting
It really is! Nice quiet village, enjoyed exploring the place.
Yep, Hall is great - especially the huge amounts of parkland down by the creek. Can get quite busy on weekends. Its quite pricy to live there though - a lot of people want the village feel close to the city. Of course Hall has been there a lot longer than Canberra, thankfully it hasn't changed too much (just don't look too closely at the shops). The highway used to run right through it. Probably only 20 years ago some of the back streets were still dirt, but all sealed now with their fancy houses. Cheers, (another village to check out is Tharwa - opposite end of the city though!)
I wanted to do some suburban streets there, and show more detail with the local flora and fauna. Unfortunately the iPhone's battery went flat just as I was filming the showgrounds.
Hey, that's not far from me! Some nice spots down there by the lake, but maybe not so much behind all the restaurants. If you had gone a little further in John Knight park, then you would have got to the creek area with lots of rocks, ponds, and a flowing (pumped) creek. There is also a nice little island there in the Casuarina trees. Diddams close is also nice as a family picnic area, but John Knight park is the pick. Cheers, (oh and I hate that ugly tower they've built next to the mall - so out of place)
Thanks for the input. I did a reconnaissance drive around Belconnen CBD before I started filming. I normally go into more detail with my movies, but this time I decided to spend time and energy on the lake and foreshore area instead. I also wanted to do a second suburb and came across Hall, which I am glad I did. This is why not all of Belconnen was filmed.
thanks for this one 😊
You're welcome 😊
I live in Rutherglen Scotland .love your wine. Campbells Alan Munro🏴🏴🏴
A great selection there, and a few that I have seen in person. I notice a lot of the water infrastructure in the ACT has been painted in recent years. Looks great.
At the hospital shop, my grandpa used to work with used to own the store
OMG I LIVE IN HEATHCOTE
I plan on doing a walking tour of Heathcote rather than photos, so stay tuned.
Beautiful old draw bridge.I can picture the paddle steamers and barges cruising past.
Really miss leet on town 2018-2023
Nice - love the one at 3:15. I've seen the Grenfell one, but not the Victorian ones. Another good one is in Murrumburrah in the main street. You may have seen it on your trip to Binalong (assuming you went that way!). Cheers, (oh, by the way - it's "colourful")
Cool, thanks!
Been the many many times! Even done that walk at the beginning. Thanks
You're welcome!
Just a correction, this is Middle Camberwell on Riversdale Rd. Camberwell South is on Toorak Rd, near the corner of Glen Iris Rd.
Okay thanks for the correction. I relied on Apple Maps for the exact location and the nearest name was Camberwell south. I will correct it.
Slayyyy
A bit of commentary wouldn't have gone astray. Without it it is just bits and pieces of anywhere.
A Google shows a number of aerial shots of the complex and these help place the building layout.
This is my home town
My favorite region in Melbourne, I lived in Kilsyth for many years, starting back in the 80s. Really enjoyed filming Montrose as it bought back a lot of fond memories.
I was only there last friday! A good tour of the town, and most things covered. You missed out on reading the plaque on the old railway station at 13:51, and a few things like the Catholic church and Gilberts grave (but those last two are a bit far to walk). A pity the motor museum is no longer open. Saw there was rain out there today, but we only got a few drops. Looks like you struck it at just the wrong time (although cooler). Cheers,
I really appreciate your feedback! It’s always helpful to know what we missed and what others enjoyed. I planned to film Bowning and Gunning, however the rain prevented that from happening.
Gilbert, arsonist, murderer. Why do we venerate people like him and apart from which not much there to see.
I live here
I actually live here
200
My grandpa is not 100% sure but he thinks my family is related to the person who named the town
I am not sure where it got its name from. However it would be nice if it was your family name.
I'm from Rutherglen in Scotland, good to see the other side of the world view!
Yes I enjoyed creating this video. Ironically it is thirty minutes drive from my home and it took me ten years to go and explore it thoroughly. Very popular place during the summer holidays due to the many wineries and restaurants in the region.
Nice video. Doesn't look like a ton of people.
Two reasons for that, other than bridgewater on Loddon, which does get busy with passing long distance trucks , caravanners and tourists, the other places are almost abandoned. The town of corop and lake cooper are only busy during the summer holidays as a rule. Also, for various reasons , if I see people nearby or walking towards me, I stop filming. Obviously I cannot do that in busy suburbs and regional cities, but i do my best to avoid them.
@willeton Thanks for the info. :)
From Canada, but lived here for about year half a lifetime ago now. I’m glad to see it looks the same!
I grew up in that region. The only things that have really changed is the hospital and indoor swimming pool and gym.
@@willeton worked at the Royal George for Mr. Decker, very fond memories of this place.
Haven't been there for years. Nice spot, especially in autumn when I used to travel. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
is there movies
Unfortunately no, these were photos taken for personal use, later I decided to share them anyway.
It’s high time we attend church again.
description should include day, time and season of recording.
NSW rear to kerb ... who on earth though that up ... some university town planner ,, Same in Byron Bay ... sitting outside a nice cafe with cars blowing their exhaust fumes at you choking the children do they not know that Carbon Monoxide is a poisonous gas ,,, Not to mention it take four times the time to park . ?
Дякую!!! Моя рідненька Кронулочка!!!
Pleased you enjoyed the movie subscribe for more.
I was there just today :)
Thanks for sharing this. Best thing I’ve seen on RUclips for ages. I’m from a country town in Victoria halfway between bendigo and albury and visited regularly then lived in bendigo for years. The Victoria and Georgian architecture in bendigo is a thing of beauty. Thank you again 🙏
Thanks for the encouragement. I enjoy making these movies, Violet town particularly.
thats a k200
