Great video! Creative grids should have really added the 1/4” seam allowance to the inner portion of ruler when squaring. It would give you a more accurate line to place your two cut edges on.

This was done by my local Bernina dealer in 2020. I made a block and fell in love. I still haven’t made it, you’ve got me going. The dealer used 10 inch blocks. Great with layer cakes. You’re a great teacher, thank you.😊

I have seen finger guards you put on your fingers when using glue guns! Much fewer burns ! Also I bought a cordless glue gun that is so much easier to use on proje. Just a couple tips! Hope it’s helpful.

Thanks for this tutorial. Pumpkins are so cute, and I have 4 black/white cats. This one would be appropriate for"fall" at my house as I don't celebrate halloween.

Thanks for the info. I used to get sick in a fabric store all the time in the 1970's. A quilt I finished last year had a lot of red. I reached for my 20? year old bottle of Retayne and learned it has formaldehyde. I don't know if it was on the label or I read it online. I didn't use it; I bought a different product. Do you know of a substitution for dye catcher sheets? I accidentally crushed the box I was gifting with the quilt. It smelled like 10 gallons of fragrance. It isn't a product I would be able to use.

"The cutting mat you pick out is not gonna make a difference in your quilting." Ma'am, my frustration level is through the roof because i bought a cheap cutting mat that now has divits in it that make cutting difficult. Said frustration has me on the verge of throwing the entire sewing room away... which does affect my quilting. So, safe to say i will be clicking on your Amazon links to prevent myself from throwing away the baby with the bathwater. And btw the mat i bought was the only one available at the fabric store i frequent. I didn't know there were other types. Thanks for the vid.

Very nice on the wall! Used to visit Asheville 4 times a year from my home near Nashville. Last two times we came down there crime was ridiculous. It was like a completely different place pre-Covid than it is now. Some of my friends have packed up and left.

I loved all the hanging quilts. They were so beautiful. When I seen the stairs I thought "Oh no, more quilting stuff to buy!" As it is I am getting my quilt tops long-armed right now. I still have a small mountain to do. I love when you do all these quilt shops, because it makes me want to go on-line and check them out. Great job!
