Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind Review: Time for this Series to Almost Entirely Abandon the Disney IP.
It only took 4 months but I finally got my review for the Kingdom Hearts 3 Remind DLC up. This covers the base experience, as well as the Limit Cut and Secret Episodes. Do you wanna know if this DLC is worth its $30 price tag? I've got you fam.
I also offer up my opinion on how I hope this series will improve going forward based on the building blocks created from this DLC. Chances are my opinion may not be a very popular one regarding the Disney IP in this series, but I promise my opinion is well justified. Either way I do not see it happening but I am going to continue hoping that it does.

DOOM ETERNAL: Slayer Gate In-Depth Guides/Walkthrough 1-3 NIGHTMARE Difficulty

The Slayer Gates within DOOM ETERNAL act as some of the hardest challenges one can encounter within the game and are typically reserved for completionists and hardcore fans. I just enjoy some good bloody fast paced fun, and these gates certain rocked me the first times I encountered them. Seemed that a guide/walkthrough to the gates was more than warranted. I plan to have this series run alongs...

The series has had a rough and mixed road the last decade and could ...

A Missed Opportunity- El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie Critical Review
Man I just came back to this game after re:mind released and felt like playing the game on critical with a few of the challenge codes added in. This fight has been brutal for me because I never even beat the whole data org on my first run. I had to learn them on critical but this one is just insane! His giga phase keeps beating me
3:30 sounds good rn
So I've had 6 claymores in the DM before. It seems randomised.
I heard he's the easiest so I started with him (all pro-codes on)...after 3 hours of trying, I decided to look up how to beat him xD His super-red sword attack at the end is a nightmare, one mistake and you're dead...
Found a pattern Basically 10 blocks to start off with (except the third is a dodge) Then three dodges followed by three blocks Then two dodges followed by two blocks Then one dodge followed by one block
Block Block Dodge Block Block Block Block Block Block Block Dodge Dodge Dodge Block Block Block Dodge Dodge Block Block Dodge Block
I struggled so much at this fight it actually became my favorite right after Larxene.
after sora defeats marluxia he proves him wrong 2 years later and appears in smash😂
Thanks for this guide V_V so much headache but without this i would never have won on critical
I want to know why he activated his DM twice when i fight him. Any other time i see someone fight him he only does it once. It kills me every time he does it the second time.
In 2nd phase, Xemnas moves exactly the same as he was in 1st phase. However, those moves had vines in between hits so you have to mash from guard into dodge (when you see the blue outline from those white balls) or else Xemnas will just move on to his next move. He has weird delays between some of his hits so those delays are meant to be filled with dodge roll. If you let Xemnas's vine hit you at all in 2nd phase, he will move on to his next moveset in queue. Doing so will guarantee him to DM twice. The solution here is to get the timing to dodge those vines and get the punish during the 1st part of his DM. If you succeed, Xemnas won't even live long enough to do a 2nd DM.
So a lot of people seems to struggle against Vanitas. He is one of those bosses that fall into the category of doing the exact same moves in the exact order they come from. In other words, predictable pattern type bosses like Saix, Larxene, Xigbar, Xemnas and Master Xehanort. I think Vanitas has more obscured openings than people led to believe. So uh, those slashes that came out really quickly, the keyblade barrage and slow fireball attacks, there is an opening there. The key to obtain those openings? Wind or Aero spells. It has linger hitbox that last for a while so whenever Vanitas tried to hit Sora from above or on top of him with a teleport, it parried him out of it, earning you an opening. Some of it may require aero then block or dodge once before aero because his early teleport attacks aren't above Sora and you can use the advantage of reprisal after a block to avoid the springboard property of Aero.
Man, it took a while to understand Master Xehanort but I finally beat him. So fun fact if anybody is struggling against the yellow lasers, focus the one on the left, as soon as you see a convex lens shape at the tip, dodge roll immediately. If you can't dodge left or right, then just dodge roll towards the viewers. Because the hitbox are nullified if it hits through your dodge roll. The red laser is more forgiveable. You can delay your dodge until the thin line is passing through Sora as the hitbox is only active when the beam is at its largest. As for the 1st part of Xehanort's attack, you have to mash through the block to dodge roll and vice versa because otherwise the endlag of the animation will get you killed. Same goes for the beyblade mines, never stop moving while dodge roll but remember Xehanort can come alternate from right to left and vice versa so going towards the direction of the incoming beyblades will prevent it from tracking you. The DM has very tight timing where you need to dodge roll into a block so dodgeroll towards the wall and block immediately. Also the beyblade mines can still hit you so it is best to dodge after the 1st block to be safe. As for the last part of the DM, its best to unequip Double Flight if you try to jump out of a block. It may sound counter productive but since by nature old man Xehanort hurtbox is always above Sora, Sora will do aerial sweep into aerial dive, which can look and feel janky. The alternate way is to jump after the dodge roll if you don't want to unequip Aerial Sweep.
So for those whose struggling with the last part of the DM, not the disco ball which is very unlikely if you get all the punishes consistently and don't use radial blaster. You have to dodge 7 times for each of the two set. Best way to do it is hug the wall, with Sora facing at us viewers, then dodge roll whenever the stripes is large enough to look like an arrow (for the lack of a better term of how it shapes) and relatively above Sora. For the ones that is lcoming from left or right, dodge roll towards it. It can be blocked but unfortunately it explodes like old man Xehanort's beyblade so only dodge.
If anybody managed to avoid the vines in 2nd phase after the DM, the moves is exactly like the 1st phase but like 1 and a half of every loop. If you can practice to dodge roll in between the two possible 1st moveset and 3rd moveset whenever there is a delay, you're good to go in 2nd phase and 1st phase all together. It is an opportunity, but practicing to dodge the vines after a guard during the DM 5 times in a row, then guard 2 times and reprise will earn an opening. The timing is very strict since the cue to dodge roll is when the light gives out a blue signal. It is only better to dodge the 1st and 2nd part of the DM for the vines since you get a free opening and cut the DM short. The 3rd part isn't even worth dodging due to tight frames.
The best tip before handling any DM is to disengage lock on from any enemy, especially if they are mobile. This is because your camera moves together with the target. And for Saix, its better to stay grounded since gliding makes him call more Claymores that can come off screen. Whenever Saix makes an immediate turn, he's going to do the shockwaves. As for the dashes in his berserk meter, its better to dodge the 1st one, guard the 2nd one and immediately reprise as soon as Saix moves offscreen. This is essential in the last phase because its very taxing to dodge an unblockable attack only to face slam in a different one.
Got KH3 Remind for PC about a month ago (I know I'm late.) Got to the Limit Cut and already beat Xemnas and Young Xehanort. Now all I have to do is commit this strategy to mind and I'm gonna win against Terra. 4 years later and you should be proud you're videos is still helping us Secret Episode chasers.
Why don't I get the reprisal when blocking his distant crossbow attacks? At 4:56
Reprisal only works if you are relatively close to the target. So whenever you see Yozora slashing from far away, you must get close to him or else the reprisal prompt won't appear.
4 years later and it was just discovered that you don’t have to dodge roll the Gigas attacks. You don’t even have to move at all as long as you have magic available. The color of each Gigas indicates the magic you’re supposed to attack with to one shot them, red with fire, yellow with thunder, and blue with ice/water.
I don’t know if you are still active at all and will see this, but I recently played through all of the kingdom hearts games on proud and beat them in the last few months. I did all the secret bosses and remind data fights plus yozoroa. KH3 was my favorite so I decided to play through it again on level 1 crit and just beat Yozora. Your guides helped a lot for the remind data fights. Thanks pal. What a journey. Luz Noceda will be in Kingdom Hearts IV.
Hi I'm confused. I'm trying to attack during the sword charge and crossbow slide moves. However there's a problem it's got 50% consistency. Sword clarge - sometimes he cancels earlier when I approach him and I can't block in time. Crossbow slide - when blocking the reticules, I don't always get a prompt to counter. So I have to pray I land the parry or I get hit. Can you help me understand why these are happening?
If Yozora cancels earlier than your attack could reach him, you are too far away. If you want him to appear closer, then you got to manipulate the camera so it faces the invisible boundary (not too close where Yozora couldn't appear at all). If not you have to airslide then flash step + cancel. KH3 buffer system is so good that if you input another action while you are in an attack animation, it will play out even if you don't pressed it after the 1st animation. So its recommended to not mash too much when trying to go into attack cancel and most definitely not with quick slash. If you are not confident with physical attacks, then use projectile magic like fire, blizzard or water before dodging/guarding. Do note that if Sora cannot guard/dodge until the spell casting animation is over. For the crossbow slide, you are too far away from Yozora last position to do a reprisal. Get close to Yozora when he starting to do those slashes from afar and the reprisal prompts will appear.
Another detail is that you can block his fireballs when he starts jumping out of the ground, this means that even if he doesn’t blitz after the third jump you can get a full combo on the third repetition each and every time. Something to note is that even though he ALWAYS goes behind you, your block will always catch the fireballs regardless of which direction you’re facing.
Kingdom hearts eithout disney isn't KH
Glad yours is in Critical Mode. I'm sure the fights are difficult on other difficulties but I'm not playing on Proud or whatever these other guides are playing on....
Thank you for helping me with the data fights in Kingdom Hearts 3 you and one other person helped me do each and every data fight by watching your videos before I face them to get a general idea what they offer ironically I did data luxord without a guide XD
I am stuck at the last part of this boss fight.. like why must he go crazy for the last one!!
Can Showdown be saved/used to cancel his DM?
No. The DM will instead cancel your showdown prompt. So you can only use it to cancel an opening you don't want to deal with. For me, its the walk bait move.
How riku go that hard but when you use his regular form he weak af
A tactic I like to use, on the attack when she throws 5 beams, where we usually use a fast step on the 4th to interrupt the 5th for an oppening, when she starts doing the lasers JUMP and block the 1st one and continue blocking the others in the air, on the 4th one try to get a risk block, and when she appearts to cast the 5th hit her with a reprisal for maximum damage (you can only reach her on the air, ground reprisals won't work) on that opening. Is easier than it seems and pretty fun to do
Way to keep it short and straight to the point! Literally beat Dark Riku right after watching this
Thank you very much for this guide. I always struggle during the DM because it felt like forever. But which part of his move specifically there is a guard fail? I face Guard Fail with Dark Inferno purple phase, hit him when he is guarding to immediate guard, reprise, then guard immediately (this one can guard fail) and reprise for an opening.
I BEAT HER YESSSSSS!!!!!!
Your guide is helping me a lot. I’m just missing timing when she goes into that final stage of rage and armor. I get to the near end and she just wrecks my life and I can’t get grounded :(
I cannot stay grounded. It’s ridiculous and Sora falls so slow
After that 5th beam, I NEVER hit the timing even when I focus step just like you did RIGHT at that moment and I get MAD punished
Okay Xion is infuriating
Appreciate this series! I didn't have the patience to figure them out by myself and just wanted to work on execution 😅
Still best guides on youtube for these data battles on critical mode. Just beat Yozora. Hope you come back for whatever super bosses KH4 offer!.
You are legend for these videos man. Could not have beaten these bosses with the pro codes on without them.
These videos are super helpful. I'm trying to beat them with pro codes on and your vids are the best imo
If you need help beating the boss, find how the no damage guy is doing it 😂 Im enjoying this one Luxord, Larxene, TerraXehanort, and young Xehanort down so far
Great video!!! Thanks
Those flurry slashes is Ars solem
Now do it without Ultima. Ultima is such a handicap. Plus it Sounds like a SI if you can’t deal with his second half of his second DM. It all can be dodged plus he’s open when he’s done. Its only 6 seconds long.
Thank you so much for these amazing guides! I really love that you show each moves a couple of times so we can really get it down.
Great video design/format
pls come back bro you helped me beat yozora a couple months ago
Idk why riku is so hard for everyone you can just brute force the battle and use ultimate transformation and the dark sora transformation to regain health while your mp bar fills if empty same with larxene vanitas marluxia and ansem. Xion was beating my ass and probably Xemnas has been the hardest so far for me now it's time for Master Xehanort.
Keep in mind I'm talking about just beating him in general not a no damage run
Another thing I found out is if you get beamed a lot and your hp goes down a lot you can use a form change and it will bring your hp bar back to normal
I've beaten most of the battle, but it's her DM phase that really gets me. I don't know when to dodge when to block or when to attack. It's pure madness.
All organization members have weapons, and Ansem uses magic attacks and the guardian so he doesn't have get his gloves dirty. Meanwhile, most of Xemnas' attacks are literally him throwing hands
