ON 15 I DROVE INTO RELIANCE PETROL PUMP. THE RATE OF 95% OCTANE PETROL WAS 99.67 PAISE, I ASKED THE WHY YOUR PETROL WITH HIGHER % OF OCTANE IS CHEAPER. I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY HAVE A PAN INDIA SCHEME RUNNING. WHEREIN FROM 10AM TILL 5 PM THE DISCOUNT IS GIVEN. NOW TO MY SURPRISE HIGH WAY MILAGE WAS 26.3 KMPL AND CITY DRIVE WAS 22.9 KMPL. THE ENGINE ALSO FELT MUCH SMOOTHER. AND ITS ALSO FOR DISEL DISCOUNT Rs 2/- PER LITRE, EARLIER I WAS USING NORMAL PETROL THAT WAS HAVING 89 % OCTANE WAS GETTING 18 TO 19 KMPL CITY AND 22 KMPL ON HIGHWAY
