Double sonic boom! USSF-67 SpaceX Falcon Heavy Rocket Launch 1-15-23 at Kennedy Space Center
Double Sonic booms heard from the two separate boosters returning to land after the falcon heavy launch for USSF-67 at Kennedy space center.
“Double” Booms - from Nasa.gov
All aircraft generate two cones, at the nose and at the tail. They are usually of similar strength and the time interval between the two as they reach the ground is primarily dependent on the size of the aircraft and its altitude.
While some people on the ground may perceive the sound as a single sonic “boom,” many sonic booms produced from NASA’s research flights are easily heard as distinct “double” booms, similar to what was created by the space shuttle. This is the result of the two separate cones generated, at the nos...

  • @silverkw

Best way to do this with the Dewalt; 1. High volume pump to full. 2. Hand pump for a it until it’s kind of hard (around 9 psi). 3. Finish off with the dewalt high pressure low volume to about 13 psi (enough pressure for my liking). Takes about 10 min in total

I just came across this after purchasing an inflatable kayak. Another site noted that the Schraeder valve adapter needs to have the Schraeder valve removed from the stem to allow the higher pressure air to free flow. The valve in the boat will prevent back flow, and removing the valve will allow the high pressure pump to inflate more rapidly. I have the Ryobi inflator and will be giving this a try when my adapter arrives, but you might give it a try as well and let us know how it goes. 😃

I have the Dewalt pump so was excited to see how it would work for me but after watching the video I'm not impressed at all. At 68 years young I don't mind the hand pump action - consider it a great workout for the arms and heart!
