Hurricane Season - Do You Have An EVACUATION PLAN?
My wife tells me all the time that she really makes her happy that I carry real money at all times. I keep $200 - $300 dollars on me for small purchases. She never carries cash, and that is normal of many people I know. I got to have a little something on me.
We need land. To set up...we have everything water and all... Water PH Tablets all that.. Blk don't Stick together mmmSo Knowledge means Nothing Without Protections...2 vs a Army ? Rethink.. You Right but missing few things good luck
we made our own berky by using two stainless steel stockpots and using two of the berky filters and added the tap that we got off amazon. There are videos on RUclips to show you how to do this.
When ??????
Why does this topic scare me!?! Huh let me work on my family’s emergency stash kit, with water and all that.
Thank you Mr. & Mrs. H 🙏🏽 God Bless you (God Bless us all).
I never really thought about having cash on hand. Now, l will work on saving cash on hand just in case of emergency. Thank you for your wisdom
I think $1000 to $2000 in $20 dollar bills,$10s and $5s.
Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving to you both🙏🏻
I use seychelle water filters, pictures for water, pumps for 55 gallon drums of water and personal sports bottle with filters. Cheaper than some other water filters and last a long time. Been using for 15 plus years.
I didnt realize y'all had another channel. It just popped into my suggested videos.
Be careful cause they don't want us to be self sufficient. You will become a target. 🙏🏾🥰😎😘
We stock bottled water in our spare bedroom which has a closet.
Don't forget if you have pets, they need it too. I have one gallon for my cat. Every time I buy a gallon for myself, I get one for her.
hello ........... great content , thank you , for sharing🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰.............
Plan on filling clean milk jugs in my freezer!!!
I have the 5 gallon water's
We've bought hiking water filters, and life-straws. We keep 4 gallon jugs and have refilled several with pipe water as a backup. I remember when my grandfather had to turn off the water to do plumbing work and he'd say fill every container & pot with water because it may be out for a while.
Nice video. Love it!
Just talked to a friend of mine last night about water use and storage and purchasing a Berkey. Guidelines say you should have a gallon of water per person. She said it’s her and hubby so they don’t have to wash for a few days and she doesn’t like the taste of water. Kidneys like it though and she is a nurse too, how we worked together and I’m learning this about her now. I don’t like trying to pushing my thoughts on anyone but since she was receptive to a starter for sourdough I thought talking about being prepared made since but we went on to movies and such N that opportunity was lost. What can I do as a friend, I am a widow that lives in an apartment and have to garden and can on little real estate. She owns a home with acres and it’s all grass.
Thx
I am able to store box water under my bed. The brand is Datrex. It is a box of emergency water packets and are easy to store in small places both inside and outside of the box. Got mine from Amazon.
We had a boil order on our water for 3 or 4 days I used a couple of gal from my storage I need to replace. Also important to note that bottles of water sitting on concrete is not good the plastic will absorb stuff from concrete. I have mine on a pallet in unfinished basement.
I have gallon jugs under my utility room sink.
I’d say roughly $100-$200 PER PERSON in the household for the absolute bare minimum. This is what my grocery and household goods are. If we needed to leave in an emergency, food will cost more and that would give us food. Probably another $1000 for fuel and hotel in an evacuation situation. This would be my bare minimum figures.
So glad y’all are back
When shit hits the fan, cash will be worthless. Food and ammunition will be the new currency.
I would really love videos on water catchment, cisterns, storage, AND water well pump backups- hand pumps, solar pump hook up, windmill, ect. ❤
Rainwater catchment is so helpful!
Do you have these? If yes what kind? I’ve been thinking of getting a metal roof & gutters installed w/ rain barrels in future someday when I can save up.
You would think after all this destruction around us we would have been doing this for a while
Love you both. I always learn so much from you. Keep up the great work that you are doing ❤️
I keep my water in my closet i have a couple of places in my home that couch mr h just gave me another idea thank you for sharing that information if I have to i could probably stack up water in my master bathroom thank you for sharing information
So glad you two are doing these. The word has to keep getting out. Also for all your updates as well. So blessed to have found channel. Yahweh God bless you both..
Thank you for sharing love you guys heart and I know you are helping people god bless you and your family
Empty canning jars and used lids
I live alone but I have 6+ 24ct spring water bottles in storage I may up that number.
Please do a video on water Filters
Mrs H is looking SERIOUS!!!!
Love her! ❤
Wow , storing water , when you live in an apartment ,,
I recently went through Milton and stored water was so helpful. Trees that fell broke several of the large water pipes cracked. It took a few days to fix them and even after they were fixed we were under a boil water advisory for a few days after.
My husband and I bought 4/250 gallons totes. We are gonna fill it up with clean water just in case electricity goes out. We live on well water system. We have 20 acres with two wells on the property! Thank you both for continuing to remind us about the importance of water and food! Peace in Jesus Name!
Thank you 😊. ❤ from Maryland
Thank you so much Mr. and Mrs. Heart. As power goes, even a squirrel can get in the transformer and knock out your power. That happened where I lived. I heard a pop, then the power went out. I miss the days before they made everything DIGITAL. I use to be able to cook on my gas stove when the power went out, now stoves are digital and have electronic ignites so we can no longer cook on the stove during power outages. God Bless you, your family and your viewers.
I'm good with canning, water, gardening but have no idea about security in suburbia. Self defense...ideas. Listening and coming back to comments hoping for knowledge. Thanks Everybody.
Thanks for this video! We have been storing water for drinking for a couple of years and we also have been filling up milk jugs with tap water for the flushing the toliets. A lot of people have swimming pools, don't forget to make use of that water to flush toilets!
thanks, Mr and Mrs H!😊 (there is new under a "hide-away" or fold out couch for water and/ or can goods. My grandparents did it)
I've always been prepared for storms and to be out for a few days but recently had the water main to our home broke and definitely opened my eyes to how under prepared i really was. Water is life especially with animals at home. Also keeping up on dishes and laundry so you're not using water until absolutely necessary
I refilled 2 gallon jugs with water and put in closets under beds. I also save some of my laundry detergent jugs with the spout & filled those with water for hand washing, face etc
I do not think I would use the laundry detergent jugs. You should opt for "food grade" only. If I were stuck using those, I would mark them for laundry toilet use as the chems from the laundry soap may leech into the plastic. I would not even use the water on my skin. If you have nothing else rotate that water out every three months or so. You do not want to get rashes, somebody accidentally drink it can get ill...if you are using water in jugs...there is most likely NO medical help. Remediating questionable details now, can hedge your bets later, folks. Water ccompanies have 2.5 gallon jugs that have a spout.
I keep jugs in the basement. Recently, I went to a yard sale & noticed water containment units in the backyard that weren't part of the sale. Turns out they were moving so I made an offer. 2 -275 gallon units & 4 - 55 gallon rain barrels. I got them all for $325 & they delivered them to me since I lived close by. I have methods to make the water safe for drinking. What a blessing!
Can you make a video about rotating water storage?
