Lowcountry Food Bank

The Lowcountry Food Bank serves the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina and distributed more than 31.2 million pounds in 2018. The Lowcountry Food Bank helps fight hunger by distributing food to nearly 300 partner agencies including soup kitchens, homeless shelters and emergency food pantries. The Lowcountry Food Bank is a member of the national Feeding America network. The Lowcountry Food Bank advocates on behalf of those who experience hunger and helps empower people to make healthy and nutritious food choices. Deborah's Story | Lowcountry Food Bank
Meet Deborah. After surgery, Deborah found herself out of work and needed help to afford nutritious meals. With the support of her local food pantry, she and her family have been able to eat healthier, and she can share nourishing meals with her neighbors in need of food assistance as well.
Lowcountry Food Bank works with over 240 partner agencies across coastal South Carolina to meet our neighbors where they are in the community.
