I hate Atlanta, my wife insisted (no other way) we move here from Portland, ME to ATL. My housing insurance 3.5x, my truck insurance is now $120 more per month. There is not much to do in ATL if you A) want to avoid horrendous traffic B) you pretty much have to pay for parking and if you don’t have a smart car you will feel the stress …lastly enjoy the horrible humidity and the price of energy your energy bills; don’t get me started on the bugs

I live in holly springs and have been ever since I was born I love this place and it’s cheap if you ever move here and have kids I suggest you put them in holly springs elementary school it’s the best I loved it when I went there

Marietta is a beautiful city i dont regret moving here ur close enough to the city, the battery and also the rural areas.. to experience both and amazing food too its perfect! And also aggressive gentrification has displaced a majority of its citizens so if you want to experience what its like to be the victim of property crime then come on over were here!!!💀💀🤣😳

Moved to Georgia 2 years ago and hate it. Definitely going to south Florida soon. Better for veterans, very welcoming to the Latino population and no income tax.

Other beautiful towns that border Cartersville have much more affordable housing and a short drive such as Adairsville, Emerson, Euharlee, & White. All are full of their own unique history, friendly neighbors, and outdoor activities. Been here for over 20 years and have loved every bit of it.

South Ga is only about 15 minutes from my home. If Florida ever goes to crap I’ll go there and live in Homerville, Douglas or Waycross. Now picking just anywhere in any state, it would be either North AL, north eastern Ga on the Alabama border.

lived in GA for 10 yrs. good luck, it is expensive to live there and nothing to do. you will be begging to leave. boring as heck to live there and not much variety of food or places to see, and the people are friendly but never want to go do anything. very hard to make friends except if you go to the colleges and make friends there cause if not- only friends you will have is work acquaintances. and did i mention they still will not meet you to go do anything? At least here in Florida, ppl want to meet up, ppl want to hang out. there is huge variety of food and things to do

Surprised you didn't hit Centennial Yards. I was just at GWCC today and seeing the development going on their to replace the sea of parking lots affectionately known as 'The Gulch" makes me feel really good about the future of downtown.
