Jam Side Down was a great track…and the Heavy Traffic album felt as if the Quo were finally heading in the right direction….especially after Under The Influence which was easily their best release since the early 80’s….but they never quite hit those heights again!

I did 7 gigs on that tour, which was more than I'd done before on one tour, so I saw a lot of Nicole as I refused to not see the support act. Plus, most, if not all, would be standing. I do wonder what became of her musically. One of the choruses 5obine song still sticks in my mind all these years later.

This was filmed the same night as they played Croydon- the came on at 21.15 that night ( i was at the gig)

The best documentary music wise is the radio 1 doc from 1994 as they go back to the original multitracks and break them apart. Wow, I see they did go back to the multitrack. Memory playing tricks. The Radio 1 Doc is good, though.

Lorraine Kelly is a good interviewer. I used to listen to her on Talk Radio aroperiend of tve 90s if i recall correctly.
