We replaced bench seat with really comfortable recliners in our camper!
When we first got our Grey Wolf toy hauler camper we had recovered the bench seat with nice fabric. While this made it look great and the fabric was nicer to sit on than that vinyl it came with, it was not comfortable to sit on for any length of time. At the end of the day we like to relax and watch a little TV so I had been searching for a solution. I found a set of small recliners that fit the space really great! These recliners are super comfortable! And when it is time to travel the backs of the chairs can be removed to easily move the chairs out of the way when we want to load both motorcycles in back. If you are interested in something like this for your camper here is the link for ...

Today I add more color to my Ryker! Using my Cricut Maker I cut out the Can Am logo in the left over vinyl from last week when we did a partial wrap on my bike with Avery’s Roaring Thunder color flip vinyl. This was a fun and quick project! We also announce the winners in our Koozie giveaway! Congratulations to: Ernie Sowell Jr Dschaening Debbie Nicosia Please send me an email at bykerdogadvent...
Part one of wrapping my Can Am Ryker
Просмотров 12 тыс.4 года назад
With a lot of help from my friends we complete the first phase of wrapping my Can Am Ryker. I used Avery Rolling Thunder color shift vinyl in gloss. This was a challenging project, applying the wrap took a great deal of patience. It turned out beautiful! We did a partial wrap and I have some vinyl left over for part two, I can't wait to show you what else I have planned for my bike!

New mods for my Ryker! This fairing was not made for the Ryker but works great and looks awesome! Another pretty easy install. There are three different windshields you can add, the one one the bike in the video is the medium size, although they call it large. I love the way this looks and plan on doing lots of more modifications to the interior of the fairing. Here are the links for all the pr...

We are looking for our first toy hauler and this model looks perfect!! We haul a harley and are so excited to take it on our adventures! I love your ideas for making it look more "homey" How did you attach those shelves on the wall by the couch? Thank you!
fantastic!!! now i really can't wait to get home today and try this
So let me understand this set up, you have to purchase new handlebar and all those pieces separately?
Yes the handlebars, fairing, and windshields are sold separately.
Love your saddlebags and seat bag! Where can I get ones?
The three-piece luggage set is from Slingmods.
Do you have access to the front storage while the fairing is installed?
No I don't
OMG....looks so easy😂😂😂..thx girl
Nice video, I guess this would fit a 900 Rally as well. Liked
This was great i learned way more than i expected from this video when i thought my dash was basic didnt realize i had so many options especially the fuel miles and the sport mode
Do you still your ryker?
I love love love your designs. The fridge panel. The pantry net organer The cover for bench. So many great ideals. Thank you.
Thank you. I really enjoyed updating this camper.
I've had mine for 4 years and cannot wait to try this tip. I'm only 4'10 so I hope it works. Thanks!
I hope it works for you too!
What?!? No way! Thanks for that tip!! I want to leave work right now and go home and try it. Lol!
Thank you for sharing
dont you bottom out riding with a passenger?
Only if the passenger is on the heavy side
You are very informative and a Smart Lady. Now, " Do you want to sell your trike? I Love the way it is set up*. I must get off 2 wheels this year.
Thank you. I'm not interested in selling it, I love riding this bike.
As a BRAND NEW Ryker owner I REALLY appreciate the tip!! Mine is being delivered tomorrow....excited.....
Congratulations
Koozie. I'd really like a patch for my Can Am Ryker
We are actually planning on ordering some patches in the next month or so. I do have some koozies if you would like one.
@@BykerDog Do you have a facebook page? I can message you my address.
Yes, I have not done much with it. I'm still trying to figure out all this. Send me your address, and I'll send you out a couple of koozies.
@@BykerDog Is it safe to include my home address on RUclips? That is why I asked if you have a Facebook page. I can message you my address.
Message me through Facebook. I have a page. Byker Dog
I really like your videos. I bought a 2020 used Ryker and it already had the fairing on it, as well as ROX Risers. The Risors will not stay tight, handle bars still move while driving, maybe because of the weight of the fairing. As far as I know of the handlebars are original. Was it necessary to change the handlebars? It looks as though you do not have Rox Risers. I am 6ft. and I don't think I need the risers putting handlebars 2" more to the rear. Maybe I should try to remove them and see if it is any different. I'm afraid to tighten the Risers anymore for fear of breaking the hex bolts. Any suggestions? 😅 For the blank spaces I was going to buy a couple of small zipper pouches and felcro them to the inside of the fairing.
I had to buy a new handlebar for the fairing, no risers. I don't have a problem with movement. I, too, want to put something in those blank spaces but have not found anything yet. If you find something that works, please let me know. I have a few new videos planned, I am going to put in a phone mount in the center of the fairing and am trying a new product to restore the black plastic parts that have really faded. The risers may have been added to your bike so that the fairing does not scrape those panels when turning. Check the clearance before you remove them.
@@BykerDog Do you have a facebook account? I'd like to send you some pictures of my Ryker Fairing.
You just saved $200 bucks thank you
Cool
I have the small one, but get a lot of helmet buffeting. I have a 3/4 helmet with visor. So I got the large screen.
Do you still like the recliners?
We recently sold the camper, and the new owners love them. They are holding up really well.
@@BykerDog I didnt even notice it was a different toy hauler
Very helpful, I got the same fairing for my Can-Am Outlander. Thank you so much ! P.s. I found out its easier to remove just the black plastic at the bottom first then remove the windshield.
How on earth do you get your dog to ride with you like that? Is eye protection needed?
How bad is the wind buffeting - if any. Mine I get a lot of buffeting. It is similar to your fairing. I've been told that you need to have an air access behind the bottom of the windscreen.
I'm not sure I understand your question. Having the fairing cuts the wind on me much better than the stock windshield I had before.
Looks great. One tip - use plastic panel tool to pry off emblem. Use a little heat also helps. Metal screw driver leaves marks.
I have the 18rr and will definitely install the folding shelf across from the kitchen side. Thanks for the info.
You're welcome!
I am really wanting to purchase a ryker have you taken on the interstate because my better half wants to do long rides n has a victory motorcycle. How fast does your ryker go?
I have the 600 and have no problem keeping up with my husband on his Harley. I have done 93 on highways (which is way too fast) I have done a few long highway rides and the bike does just fine! I absolutely love my Ryker! Life is short, buy the bike!
Thank you!
May ask how fast hace you gone on it?
Like I said before, I have had it up to 93 and it handled fine. Buy the bike. You will love it.
Haha 😂 my apologies you did say. I guess I should of read it again. Thank you! I will purchase one.
Can you post were you got your vinyl please?
What font did you use, I have a maker also
I found the logo online, Downloaded it into Design Space. I had to adjust the kerning a little.
Thank You. GREAT job. WHERE is part 2 please? I Cannot find it. I am curious WHAT you did about the Can - am 'Logo's' you removed??? Thanks again. Regards.
Thanks! ruclips.net/video/AA3R4xvD5iE/видео.html
I am still working on the logo buttons. Project was put on hold. I have a few more projects planned for my Ryket later this fall.
@@BykerDog Thank you very much. - Can I assume the Can am logo's are just 'stuck/glued' on? (No fixings/fasteners) Thanks again. All the Very Best. Regards.
Yes they are just glued on. They come off easy.
@@BykerDog THANK YOU, now I know!!! I will do the same. Very Much APPRECIATED. Thank you again.
WOW !!! THANK YOU Very Much. So SIMPLE. Regards. (OZ - Australia)
I just love this!! I've been dying to cover my bench seats, can you tell me what type of fabric you used?
I used a super soft plush fleece. When I went to the fabric store in search of fabric for those seat covers I wandered all over the store looking for the right color and something that was soft. You can use any fabric you like. Have fun with your project, it makes a huge difference!
Thank you 😊
You are welcome!
Love seeing your very useful upgrades. The toy hauler is coming to the top of our wish list, even though we don’t have toys.
Thank you.
Nope. Way too much cash for cheap Chinese crap.
I need to know how you installed the two shelves on the side of the pantry
Those are simple wood shelves, screwed into the wall and side of pantry with 1x supports underneath.
Thanks! Great video. Planning to do the same after watching this….very uncomfortable bench in our camper. One question- any problems getting chairs through RV door? They seem like small openings.
No problem getting them in. The backs come off easily. This was a huge upgrade in comfort!
@@BykerDog Thanks, ya'll inspired me. Just hired a guy to remove ours and ordered those from Amazon - thank you!
Awesome!
Great Job on the renovations. i really like them.
Thank you
Very helpful, thank you ✨🤗
You're welcome 😊
Thanks for the info, I was having the same problem 👍🏼
You're welcome 😊
It looks awesome 👏🏼
Thank you
Omg!!!! I was about to make a modification..... love this thank you!!
Glad this helps!
That's how it was intended to be operated.
I'm late because I'm just getting my Ryker. That was a very good tip. I now don't need the extension thanks to you.
Ryde safe and have fun!
This is the BEST tip ever! Thank you for sharing. It is a new world doin it this way.
Thanks!
If you take it to a dealer they can flip your forward reverse and bring it closer to you so your not stretching as well.
Great video! U are awesome
Thanks
Where did you get the windshield and fairing from
Amazon
Nice camera, my next toy ;). Quick question~ I have the same dog carrier and it wobbles on the back of my Ryker. How do you attach yours? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
I use two straps that came with it. I criss-cross from the bottom corners of the carrier under the back seat and pull the straps tight. It has never bugged at all.
@@BykerDog Would you suggest the standard seat or do you think the one with the backrest would work better? I really want to make sure my little buddy is safe.
David, I had no issues with the standard backseat, the carrier was secure. I think having a backrest may take up too much space for the carrier to fit well, I think it would push it too far forward into your seat.
@@BykerDog Thank you for the response. I was wondering the same thing.
Hello, does your foot have to be on the brake to put the bike in reverse? Thanks
I'm not sure. I always do put my foot on the brake when switching to reverse or forward.
