Although you can get some decent bargains with auction houses, you can also get suckered into it and caught out big time. Always read the terms mate, all are different and you can get stung badly! Hope you had a good holiday lad.

Hello nice collection of vikings the trick to keeping these pliable is keep them out of direct sunlight and uv also don't leave them near sources of heat. All the best Jim

Man, we have around 3-4 tubs full of bloody Dinosaurs from when Dylan was bigtime into them. He's moved on to more Godzilla/Kong etc now. You should try painting that Warhammer figure mate. I think next year, when Im more sorted, Im going to get into it more, dios and painting parts for Mythics etc.

Brilliant toy show as always John mate. Jurassic park on the mega drive what a game. Lots of nice figure pick ups there also. Think you need a bigger box for all them dinosaurs, awesome collection. Its a tough job market in 23/2024, i know how you feel, lots of people have been made redudant over the past year. Had to cutback on my toy collecting for the same reasons.

I have been a strong advocate for Nerdbase but i do feel the quality of their vintage toy stock has dropped a lot over the last year in favour of selling newer toys and card collecting. I am seeing store improvements which is great but they still miss simple fixes, for eg: 1) Id like to see them make the prices on vintage items visible via tags or stickers on chests, apart from the front row you cant see the prices 2) The cabinets are a total mess, little pride is taken in making it display well for the customer 3) Poor lighting in some areas 4) Store just looks a bit dirty / scruffy compared to some newer competitors now entering the retro retail market.

Did you go into Mega City Comics? They are wicked in there, spoke to Dylan all about he's anime stuff and very knowledgeable. When is this on again? May have a butchers at a later date.
